This week, General Hospital gets a jump on the summer with some hot plots before Memorial Day ends the month. For the week of May 4 to 8, 2026, you can expect to see Carly's world come crashing down around her, Sonny needing to make a huge decision, and Cassius dropping the ball in several places.
Carly and Valentin are finally caught

Jack (Chris McKenna) may not see Valentin when he initially bursts into Carly's (Laura Wright) room, but he does see that his girlfriend is naked in the bed and there are men's clothes strewn all around. Eventually, Carly confesses who her other man is, which leads to quite a showdown.
It looks like Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) will show his face, so who knows what Jack will do, as he has seemed like Javert to Valentin's Jean Val Jean, always chasing a man who just wants to live a peaceful life with his daughter.
By the end of the week, Valentin seeks out Nina (Cynthia Watros) again, but why would he need to use her to get to Jack now that Jack has a good idea about where he has been this whole time? What is Valentin's alternate plan now that hiding in Carly's attic may be coming to an end?
Cassius plays a dangerous game

Cassius (Ryan Paevey) seems to have Josslyn (Eden McCoy) right where he wants her, but will he really reveal who he is or continue to make her think that he just wants to be gym buddies? Cassius also has to navigate things with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Sidwell (Carlo Rota) at Wyndemere, but his biggest problem comes from Lulu.
He continues to put pressure on her to send Rocco (Finn Carr) away, but that only serves to annoy Lulu (Alexa Havins) and find Cassius' behavior to be strange.
Ethan's test on General Hospital

Sonny (Maurice Benard) is still putting Ethan (Nathan Dean) to the test, but Ric (Rick Hearst) also has to pass another test with his brother. Since jealousy has reared its ugly head, that might be easier said than done.
By the end of the week, Sonny finds himself going to extreme measures, as a surprised Carly makes an announcement. With Laura (Genie Francis) trying to protect a loved one, does that mean all of these stories are finally coming to a head?
