On the Thursday, July 9, 2026, episode of General Hospital, Sidwell made Jordan an offer she might not be able to fully refuse. Also, Elizabeth's suspicions took hold, Chase's suspicions took hold, and Sonny and Justine made their own confessions.

Suspicions Minds Part 1

Lucas descended Elizabeth's stairs after a shower to find her sitting in her kitchen on her laptop. Elizabeth stopped in her tracks when she came across some odd news. Jack had been released from Turning Wood and walked out on his own. How could that have happened if he had locked-in syndrome?

Elizabeth compared Drew's case to Jack's and realized that things made less sense than ever. Elizabeth once again wondered if there was a toxin in Drew's house that caused both strokes and had been causing Drew to stay locked in. Lucas noted there are various things that could mimic stroke symptoms, but figured that everyone else there would be sick too.

Liz thought maybe it affected everyone differently, but Lucas didn't buy it. "I don't think there's an airborne substance that only affects white men over 40," he said. Liz realized she was reaching, but they both agreed this needed investigating.

Even More Suspicions

In her Dawn of Drew living room, Nina stared at a photo of Liesl and Cassius on her phone while Willow offered her some tea. Willow even showed sympathy for her mother's loss. Nina felt like she had lost her brother all over again, but the last 10 months were all a lie.

Willow told Nina that she would deal with her own problems now, but Nina stopped her. All she had left was Willow, so she would see the Drew mess through to the end. Willow was relieved, but insisted that Drew was her only real issue. She was not involved with Jordan's accident and found the accusations to be ridiculous.

Nina was sure that Chase would help Willow, but Willow knew he'd never talk to her again if he knew what she did to Drew. That's why Nina was going to work hard to make sure nobody ever found out. But Willow was worried. She barely had any paralysis left and Drew had begun moving his fingers. They were running out of time.

Nina insisted they had to get more, but if that failed, they could take the kids and run. Willow thought Jack would come through with leverage against Drew. That seemed to be Jack's cue, because he showed up just after Willow said that. He said he was a little on edge, considering what happened the last time he was there.

Willow didn't care. She just wanted the leverage. Jack had to break the news that he didn't have it anymore. Cullum had taken his black box. Willow lost it and told Jack that she was desperate. How would she stop Drew? "You could always kill him," Jack suggested.

Without a trace of irony, Willow said, "We are not murderers!" Jack replied with, "Says the woman who put two in her husband's back." Jack once again got serious after revealing that the WSB wanted Willow to remain in Congress. He thought the black box might be on Spoon Island, so they had to go find it.

Just then, Elizabeth arrived. She was surprised to see Jack standing there looking so well. "I'm just shocked to see you standing...especially here," she said.

Curtis' Dumb Decision

At Jordan's apartment, Marty went over the case with her and Curtis, who said he wanted his day in court. As Curtis explained what happened the night he assaulted Isaiah, Jordan took a call in the other room. Sidwell got to make a phone call and was summoning her to the PCPD.

Jordan left, but didn't tell Marty and Curtis where she was going. When she was gone, Marty noted that she couldn't help much with the case because she didn't witness the assault. Later, after Marty heard Curtis' full story, he felt that Curtis was trying to get his own justice for personal reasons.

Marty was pretty blunt with Curtis. The judge might feel the accident had nothing to do with the assault and the jury might not even hear about it. He advised Curtis to reconsider the plea deal. Curtis refused to budge.

Sidwell's Offer

When Jordan got to the PCPD, Jenz was in rare form. He knew Jordan was the one who sold him out about the house, which ultimately helped lead to his arrest. Jordan took great pleasure in telling Sidwell that she had been working undercover the whole time she was working for him.

Sidwell claimed that he didn't believe her. Surely, he would have suspected something. Jordan was sure that he had, considering how careful he always was around her. Sidwell claimed he had suspected at first, but then she won him over with her face. "What a beautiful face that once was...and could be again," he said.

He offered to get her to the front of the list at the clinic that treated Michael if she would go to Zurich and empty some of his accounts. Jordan asked why he would even still trust her. "Well, today is your lucky traitor day. I still need that cash and you could totally use that surgery," he said.

Jordan turned Jenz down, which just enraged him. He promised to make Jordan suffer as deeply as he now suffered.

Suspicious Minds Part 2

In the solarium, Tracy broke Brook Lynn's joy over Phoebe's new bunny to tell her that she knew what she was up to with Willow and the car crash. Brook Lynn tried to play dumb, but Tracy wasn't having it. She nearly lost it on her granddaughter, but took a deep breath and asked her how she could be so reckless.

Brook Lynn began whsipering and defending herself. Lucy suggested it and she thought she had a great opportunity to make Willow look bad. Tracy declared that Brook Lynn had taken a bad situation and set it on fire by taking Lucy's advice. Brook Lynn figured Willow would look bad and it would all blow over, but Tracy was more concerned that an investigation could lead right back to Brook Lynn.

Tracy asked why Brook Lynn hadn't come to her for help. Brook Lynn felt that Tracy didn't care to save her marriage, so she would have told Brook Lynn to dump her husband. Tracy turned the subject back to Lucy and asked what was in this for her. Brook Lynn avoided the question at first, but finally had to confess that she handed over Deception stock.

Meanwhile, at the Metro Court pool, Chase questioned Lucy about her statement to the police about the night of Jordan's accident. He was surprised that Lucy was visiting with Brook Lynn and not Michael. He thought she was at Charlie's that night to see Gio perform. Lucy said she was there before Brook Lynn left. Chase was even more shocked to hear that Brook Lynn had given Lucy her Deception shares.

Confessions of the Heart

In the apartment above Charlie's, Sonny questioned Justine about the very public kiss she gave him at Ava's gallery. Justine claimed she had just lost her head, so Sonny reminded her that nobody could ever know about them. Justine thought that Sidwell already did.

Sonny wasn't worried. He felt it wouldn't matter because Justine would prosecute him and put him behind bars for the rest of his life. Justine broke the news that she wasn't prosecuting due to a conflict of interest. She was hoping Molly would accept the case, which made Sonny worry for his niece's safety.

Sonny asked Justine to reconsider her decision, but she wasn't about to. She said this was up to Molly. Justine stressed how there was too much impropriety after he saved her life. She wasn't even sure they should be seen talking anymore. Sonny wondered if this was the last time she wanted to see him.

Justine admitted that she didn't want to stop seeing him. Their relationship had started as a dare for her, but after he saved her life, everything had changed. Sonny confessed how scared he felt when he saw Sidwell holding her at gunpoint. They knew they couldn't lose one another.

Is Elizabeth being a bit obtuse? Will Jordan cave and take Sidwell up on his offer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
