GH: General Hospital's Bluesy Burke Unpacks Her Last Port Charles Day...and What's Next for Charlotte

General Hospital Bluesy Burke has left Port Charles for now. Read on to get the scoop on her plans for the future and when we might be seeing Charlotte again!

The actress talked to Soap Opera Digest about her future. She shared that deciding to leave GH didn't come easily as she is a self-proclaimed "over-thinker." The actress added that while she knew she was going to miss everyone at the show, she knew that this was the right choice to make.

She spent her last day (for now) on set with Finn Carr (Rocco) and Asher Antonyzyn (Danny). Then, they went to Universal Studios, which was great fun. She said that she'd gotten close to her two co-stars over the last year. The only child considers them her two best friends.

She said her last day on set was very emotional. Burke had scenes with TV mom Alexa Havins (Lulu) and she began crying. Carr gave her a hug. Then, she hung out in the hair and makeup department.

The actress said that she talked to Frank Valentini, GH's executive producer, about how this isn't the last of Charlotte. "It's just goodbye for now!" she exclaimed.

Of her TV mom, Burke said, "Alexa is the best. She's a good mom on set and just has so much wisdom...She's such an incredible scene partner and I've learned so much from her."

Burke said that had had fun throughout the year. She added her most notable scene was finding Jack Brennan's (Chris McKenna) body in the pool. "That was super-fun!" She added that McKenna is such a "great guy!"

Burke said that GH was her first really big acting job. She was "insanely nervous" going into it. But fortunately, those nerves went away. She feels more confident now.

"I just feel like I've grown into myself a little bit more," she shared. "I was a lot more timid at first, and I think that I was able to make Charlotte more my own throughout the year. And now, I know her! That’s my girl!"

Charlotte's parents, Lulu and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), decided to ship their daughter out of town and to a school because she made the foolish decision to try to hide in Drew's (Cameron Mathison) car in an attempt to blackmail him. Charlotte didn't realize how much she was putting herself in danger had her plan failed.
