General Hospital's Rocco, played by Finn Carr, watched Jason take the fall for Rocco shooting Cullum. He's confided in his mother, Lulu, but he's had to keep it all inside for the most part, giving an acting tour de force along the way. Viewers have noticed the solid acting from the young actor. Finn Carr appeared on social media this week to thank his supporters.

Finn Carr reacts to General Hospital fan response

Carr shared on X, formerly Twitter, “Thank you to everyone who sent such positive feedback and enjoyed our scenes this week! I couldn’t have done it without the help and support of the amazing Alexa Havins [Lulu]! She is incredibly generous and has taught me so much! Hold on tight, there is so much more to come! #gh.”

He paired it with a screenshot of Rocco sitting across from Lulu, his face tight, eyes glassy, the kind of look that says he’s trying to hold it together and failing just enough for you to notice. Fans met him right where he was, with one writing, “You did amazing!! It was great to watch.”

Another added, “You had me in tears the other day in your scenes.” A third said, “Loved the scene with you and Charlotte!! Great work, Finn!” and someone else chimed in, “Your scenes were amazing this week! Keep up the great work.” (Find out Carr’s thoughts on his very first GH episode.)

The reaction says more than the story right now

The tone across the responses stayed consistent. Viewers weren’t just reacting to the plot. They were reacting to how it felt, and Carr’s performance clearly hit that nerve. The fans continued to praise his performance this week, showering him with compliments like “You were fantastic!” “Wonderful job this week!!” and “You knocked it out of the park!!!!” It’s not scattered praise. It’s focused.

A few even zoomed in on the dynamic with his on-screen mom, Lulu. One viewer called them a “Great mother/son duo,” while another said they wanted to hug Rocco, which pretty much sums up how those scenes were received.

And then there’s that last line Carr dropped. More to come. Not bigger. Not louder. Just more. Which, given where Rocco is right now, feels less like a tease and more like a warning. (Could Lulu’s darkest moment be Rocco’s lifeline?)
