General Hospital's Paige Herschell Breaks Her Silence After Jacinda's Heartbreaking Exit

And just like that...General Hospital's Michael and Jacinda are no more, and Paige Herschell has exited the role that was only supposed to last a handful of days in 2025.

Paige Herschell Says Goodbye

After Jacinda's final scenes aired during the August 11th episode, Herschell took to her Instagram stories to share a lovely photo of herself holding a bouquet of flowers in what appears to be her GH dressing room. Along with the photo, she posted these heartfelt words:

"Thank you @generalhospitalabc for giving me Jacinda. I've loved every moment with her, on stage and off. And thank you to the fans for your sweet messages and encouragement. I've loved sharing this journey with you all. If you need me, I'll be in the character closet."

As fans know, Jacinda left town to parts unknown after she impulsively drugged Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) coffee when she was watching her kids. Willow had slapped Jacinda with a restraining order earlier in the day and Jacinda just wanted her to make a fool of herself on some phone calls. She never expected her to try to get behind the wheel with Wiley and Amelia.

Jacinda burst onto the PC scene in 2025 as the young woman who drugged Congressman Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and got him to do body shots. Of course, Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Portia (Brook Kerr) paid her to do this to try to throw some scandal Drew's way, but as always, he escaped unharmed.

Jacinda quickly left town with her newfound windfall, but when she ran out of money, she returned looking for more and found a boyfriend instead. One night of befriending Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) at the Port Charles Grille turned into a whole new life, complete with a respectable job and a wealthy man on her arm.

But Jacinda wasn't in it for the money. She fell hard for Michael and snapped when Willow slapped her with that restraining order out of spite. She didn't think of the harm that could be done and it ended the new life she had been living with Michael.
