General Hospital star Sawandi Wilson is sharing a medical update on his newborn daughter. He and his wife, Anna Eilinsfeld, welcomed their daughter on August 14. The actor is now sharing a happy update.

Happy and Healthy

"👑THE LEGEND OF: ZELDA DANA EILINSFELD WILSON. ❤️," the new dad happily posted on Instagram, reporting that after spending five days in the Neo Intensive Care Unit and having several pediatric appointments, Zelda is checking out of the hospital with a "clean bill of health"!

"PRICELESS🙏🏾🏆," the actor enthused. He went on to express more of what the last week or so had been like with bullet points: "1. NICU 2. Creepin’ on a come up 3. (Well earned) Spa Day 4. Mama💝 5. Big Brother. 6. Baby Gymnastics. 7. Homegrown 8. Ready to operate #SawandiWilson #dadlife #nicu #newdad."

On-screen, the actor's been involved in some baby drama, too, as the woman he loves, Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), has given birth to her ex's (Curtis Ashford, played by Donnell Turner) son. Curtis is off to jail, having been convicted of assaulting Isaiah, injuring his hand, which, for now, has prevented him from performing surgery.

GH pals, including Cameron Mathison (Drew), have chimed in with well wishes for their co-star on his and his wife's new bundle of joy. "So beautiful, brother," Mathison posted, "so, so happy for you."

A Real Life General Hospital

Sawandi had shared on social that after his daughter's birth, she was barely crying. He praised the entire medical team at Cedars Sinai for being incredible. "You saved my baby's life. You saved my wife's life," he went on to say. "And you saved my life. I love you guys."

Sawandi also celebrates his second anniversary playing Dr. Isaiah Gannon, having joined the ABC soap on August 24, 2024. Isaiah was introduced when Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) was reintroduced onto the canvas. The two men were being held in a refugee camp in East Africa, prisoners of Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Lucky orchestrated an escape, and the two came to Port Charles.

The surname "Gannon" is familiar to ABC soap fans as Hank Gannon (Nathan Purdee) was introduced on the soap opera, One Life to Live, in 1992. In 2017, Hank's ex-wife, Nora Hanen Gannon Buchanan (Daytime Emmy-winner Hillary B. Smith), brought her attorney character to Port Charles.

Time will tell if GH ties the good doctor to the Gannons of Llanview.
