General Hospital's Jason is no longer "married to the mob," and instead, he's spending more time with the Quartermaine clan, the family he cut out of his life after suffering a traumatic brain injury decades ago.

On That's Awesome, the podcast series he hosts along with Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), the two actors addressed what Jason's life away from the mob is going to look like.

Could Burton end up sharing more screentime with co-star Jane Elliot, who plays Tracy? The Quartermaine matriarch never had much use for Jason's biological mother, Susan Moore (Gail Ramsey), as Tracy and Susan competed for the love of State Senator Mitch Williams (Christopher Pennock).

Tracy also had a complicated history with Jason's adoptive mother, Monica (Leslie Charleson), who died in 2025. Losing Monica brought Jason and Tracy together.

Burton's a fan of Jason and Tracy growing closer. "I can't sing Jane's praises enough," Burton raves. "She's just so good and just so amazing...she's been on the show for a long time and to be able to do what she loves still at the level she's doing it is crazy."

Burton adds that the Daytime Emmy-winning Elliot is his "idol" now. As Tracy is someone who takes action when she wants something, Burton thinks that Jason and his aunt could get into some escapades together.

In My Life

Burton chuckles that perhaps Tracy could suggest that someone she wants out of the picture could "go on a long trip? It would be funny, and it would have to be the right circumstances. I think the fans know from a character standpoint, when push comes to shove, Tracy wouldn't be opposed to bending the law."

That's for sure. Tracy was all for her granddaughter, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), staying mum over her peripheral (at best) involvement in the car crash involving Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis (Donnell Turner).

Tracy is known for doing what needs to get done, especially when she's protecting her family. "We're playing by Quartermaine rules," she snapped at Monica during the contagion crisis when she stole a vial of serum that she hoped would save her father, Edward's (John Ingle) life!
