General Hospital Spoilers August 31: Ava's Big Gamble Produces Surprising Results

General Hospital's Ava has made her big move, despite her better judgement. According to spoilers for Monday, August 31, 2026, Drew makes his move, too, but it won't be easy getting there.

A Dirty Job...

Ava (Maura West) doesn't like having to drug a WSB agent, but she doesn't want to hear Sonny (Maurice Benard) ever call her a cancer to remove from her daughter's life again, so she does what she has to do. When Jack (Chris McKenna) returns to the table, she pours on the charm after pouring a crushed sleeping pill into his drink.

Meanwhile, Drew (Cameron Mathison) is ready to head to Carly's (Laura Wright) office and then Jack's room to get those files, but Laura (Genie Francis) and Sonny insist on speaking with him first. Laura gets Drew and Sonny to promise to play nice while she is in Ireland, but does Drew really mean it?

Of course not. And that is why Drew gets away from the mayor and the former mobster as quickly as he can so he can do things to anger others and cause more problems.

Bonding Time

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) find themselves bonding on Monday, despite barely sharing any scenes since Britt was Willow's OB back in 2022. We guess they are cousins now, so they can try and get to know one another.

Do they bond over being town pariahs? Willow has been confused about why people don't like her since she cheated on her husband and had sex with Drew on the playroom floor. Now that she is a congresswoman, she is liked even less.

Britt also spends some time chatting with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) on Monday. He seems to want information from her, but does that information have to do with Rocco (Finn Carr)?

Dante also finds himself giving Chase (Josh Swickard) advice. Does he tell him it might be a good idea to spend more time with his current wife than his ex-wife?

Carly (Laura Wright) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) have figured out that they are going to have trouble from Drew, so they decide to wait for him to make a mistake and then pounce.
