General Hospital spoilers for Monday, February 16, 2026, tease a big day for Maxie as she learns her dead husband is allegedly not dead after all. The allegedly not-dead husband also gets a shock.

Maxie (Kirsten Storms) can't believe what her mother is saying as Felicia (Kristina Wagner) explains to her that Nathan (Ryan Paevey) turned up alive shortly after Maxie entered her coma. Maxie can't believe this is true. She watched Nathan die and saw him in his casket. How can this even be possible?

Nathan is also blindsided when he hears the news. He hasn't even visited Maxie once since returning to Port Charles and seemed resolved to her being in a coma forever. He's even pursuing a romance with Lulu (Alexa Havins) now, which will now have to be put on hold — possibly forever.

Marco tries to explain

Lucas (Van Hansis) doesn't even want to hear it when Marco (Adrian Anchondo) tries to give him an explanation for what Lucas overheard him saying on the phone. The problem is that it wasn't the first damning conversation Lucas heard over the course of a day.

Now, Lucas is sure he has to get out of Wyndemere right away. When Marco tries to physically stop Lucas, will Lucas finally realize that he never knew Marco at all?

All around Port Charles

The ax bar is the place to be on Valentine's night when Jacinda (Paige Herschell) takes Michael (Rory Gibson) on a date rather than him taking her. Instead of a fancy dinner, Michael will have to let loose for a change.

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was sure that Ric (Rick Hearst) was taking her someplace fancy and formal, considering the way she was dressed. However, they end up at the ax bar, where Ric accuses Liz of not knowing how to have fun.

Jason (Steve Burton) and Carly (Laura Wright) catch up on each other's lives at the Brown Dog, where Carly wonders if Ric has some sort of agenda. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) are also there. Will he forget about Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael for a while?

And finally, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) has some big news for Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Did she decide that she is going to allow her book to be published?
