General Hospital is full of surprises on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. According to the latest spoilers and teasers, Cassius has a long talk with his mother, Sidwell is enraged, and Portia's baby shower comes with extra trouble.
General Hospital mothers and sons

Liesl (Kathleen Gati) is all smiles when she sees her "Nathan" (Ryan Paevey) appear in her Wyndemere basement prison. Of course, her police officer son has come to rescue her and Josslyn (Eden McCoy). That's exactly what she expected.
What Liesl doesn't expect is for Josslyn to be so familiar with her son. He acts like he has known Josslyn was down there all along. Josslyn tells Cassius that this is his chance to play hero, which means he has to tell Liesl the truth.
Spoilers say that Cassius makes a major confession. Does that mean it's finally time for Liesl to learn that both her twins survived childbirth, but Nathan really did die back in 2018? This will come as quite a shock to Liesl, who now gets to know a whole other son who she never knew she had.
Sidwell confronts Lucas

Sidwell (Carlo Rota) now thinks he was right all along about who really killed Marco (Adrian Anchondo). It wasn't Pascal (Marc Forget). It was Lucas (Van Hansis). Wrong again, Jenz. Either way, Sidwell does exactly what Lucas wants and meets him at the site where the tennis center will be built.
At this point, Sidwell knows Lucas took the photos, so is Lucas about to tell him that Marco took the meds at Lucas' behest and Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) is the one who killed him, all thanks to Pascal. Lucas is playing with fire, so hopefully Sonny shows up with a gun.
Baby shower fireworks

No wonder Trina (Tabyana Ali) was so worried about getting everything ready for the baby shower. It takes place this soap opera day at the Metro Court Gardens. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) make a dramatic entrance, as expected.
Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) approaches Jordan when she is alone and asks if she is buying into Curtis' bogus theory. As for Portia (Brook Kerr), she does her best to get Curtis to behave himself, but that will be easier said than done.
