General Hospital Spoilers September 1: Charlotte and Danny Panic...and So Do Drew and Ava

General Hospital begins the new month with a splash as Charlotte and Danny make a shocking discovery during their evening swim. Jack Brennan is in the pool and it looks like Ava and Drew are going to have to cover for themselves.

Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) certainly didn't expect to find a body in the pool when she wanted one last swim for the season. Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) immediately assesses that Jack (Chris McKenna) is dead and calls for help. When Ava (Maura West) and Drew hear the news, they rush to the pool to see what happened.

Ava leaps into action to make sure nobody suspects she did a thing. But, Ava did do a thing. She mixed what Drew said was a sleeping pill with alcohol and fed it to Jack. And then he either fell in the pool or someone pushed him after he got off the elevator. A month ago, her BFF tried to drown Drew, but Ava managed to do it to Jack, all thanks to Drew. Oy vey.

Someone Call Security

While all of this is going on at the pool, Carly (Laura Wright) is trying to figure out why her hotel's entire security system is down. She enlists Jason (Steve Burton) to investigate, so they get to work.

Jason assesses that someone went to a lot of trouble to do this, so what would make it worth their while? Will they soon assume it was so someone could kill Jack (and not just drug and distract him)? Right now, this looks like Jack was pushed in the pool, but did he just stumble and fall?

Opening Night

While Josslyn's (Eden McCoy) boss is dead at her mother's hotel, Josslyn's best friend makes her big debut with a record label. It's time for Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) to sing one of their new songs and make a good impression.

However, Simon wants Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) to stay out of their way. He needs the public to believe that Trina and Gio are an item, which means Kai can only be a friend...or nobody at all.
