General Hospital Spoilers September 16: The Moment of Truth for Carly and Valentin

General Hospital has an emotional day in store as it heads into midweek. According to spoilers for Wednesday, September 16, 2026, Carly has words with Valentin, Sonny and Nina share an encounter, and Chase is about to do something dumb (again).

A Love Triangle

When soaps present a love triangle with three sympathetic sides, it's always compelling. That is what GH has given us with Anna (Finola Hughes), Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), and Carly (Laura Wright) as Valentin navigates his feelings for both women. Carly and Valentin are put to the test when she finds him comforting Anna in her apartment.

Carly just wanted to discuss the Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) situation and never expected to find Valentin there. Anna tries to be supportive of their relationship, so she tells Valentin to go after Carly, who apparently leaves.

Spoilers say that Carly challenges Valentin. Does she ask him to be honest with her regarding his feelings about Anna? Will he tell her that he was ready to run away with Anna and leave her behind? Charlotte might want to hear that one, too.

Drew's Set Up

As Ava (Maura West) worries that all WSB roads will lead back to her in the case of Jack's (Chris McKenna) death/disappearance, Drew (Cameron Mathison) reassures her that the last place the WSB will look is with Ava. He has another suspect to pin things on.

That other suspect is still at the Metro Court Gardens when Sonny (Maurice Benard) arrives. The former spouses actually share a scene together, which is absolutely unheard of in the year 2026. Teasers say that Sonny offers to help Nina (Cynthia Watros) when he tells his ex-wife that a truce is always a good time for a reset. What could he be referring to? And does Nina tell him that she may be in some big trouble?

The Chases

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) is thrilled that Chase (Josh Swickard) decided to come home and tells him she thinks she has a solution to their problems. She is sure that they can work things out. However, Brook Lynn is about to be crushed.
