General Hospital has quite a Wednesday on tap as the situations in the woods and in the gatehouse grow more intense. According to spoilers for September 9, 2026, Anna makes a decision and so does Chase. Which one will have more far-reaching consequences?
Don't Shoot

Jason (Steve Burton) is this close to getting Anna (Finola Hughes) to put down the gun and not shoot Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). But Hallucination Peter (Wes Ramsey) is standing there, egging Anna on. Jason can't see who Anna is listening to and talking to because Peter is a figment of her imagination all in her head.
Anna declares that she needs to end this now and we can hear gunshots in this week's preview, but does Anna shoot at a person or the person who is just in her head? Perhaps Anna decides to end Peter so we can all have some peace.
When Emma (Braedyn Bruner) is in for a big surprise, does Jason bring Grandma home to rest or is Emma told to meet them at GH?
Family Ties

Speaking of Emma, she needs to be the voice of reason for Gio (Giovanni Mazza) when he declares he wants nothing to do with the Qs anymore. He also doesn't want to work with his mother on music. Emma gives Gio some tough love when she tells him that families forgive each other when mistakes are made.
Trina (Tabyana Ali) doesn't look like she wants to forgive Gio's family. In fact, she doesn't want to have anything to do with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) at all and tells Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) just that. However, she is under contract and might not have any other choice.
The Gatehouse

As expected, Chase (Josh Swickard) turns up at the gatehouse and tells Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) everything that happened with Brook Lynn, including the fact that Brook Lynn set Willow up for a non crime.
Willow will be shocked, but Chase still doesn't know Willow's actual crimes, which are worse than anything Brook Lynn can conjure up. Will one thing lead to another for these former spouses while Brook Lynn cries her eyes out on the staircase?
Is Chase being a fool? Should Gio listen to reason? Sound off in the comments.
