We take a break from the regular Port Charles action on Friday for a very special episode remembering the legend who put General Hospital on the map. Luke Spencer died in a cable car "accident" in 2022, but his daughter Lulu (Alexa Havins) was in a coma and never got a chance to say goodbye to her beloved father.

When she emerged from her coma in 2024, she was devastated to learn that Luke had passed away. That's why coming across an old photo of him hits so hard. It leads Lulu to Tracy (Jane Elliot), who has an idea.

While this impromptu celebration of life is for Lulu, Laura (Genie Francis) also gets her moment. As one-half of Luke and Laura, the most legendary (and controversial) couple soaps have ever seen, Laura's love for Luke was epic and complicated, and there is not a day that goes by that she does not think of him.

When Laura has a moment alone in the church, she talks to Luke and tells him how he is the one who helps give her strength when life gets tough. He always knew what to do. She knows that he'd guide her through this Sidwell (Carlo Rota) mess if he could.

In the end, Luke's loved ones find themselves on the pier where they honor his life and his legacy. Expect flashbacks galore in this very special episode honoring one of daytime's finest.
