The General Hospital spoilers sneak peek video for the week of February 16-20, 2026, teases a tense and bittersweet week in Port Charles when Maxie comes home and Nathan has to deal with a new reality.
What to expect on General Hospital

Maxie (Kirsten Storms) can't believe her ears when Felicia (Kristina Wagner) tells her that Nathan (Ryan Paevey) is alive and James (Gary James Fuller) has forged a relationship with his father. All of this happened while Maxie was in a long slumber, but now that slumber is over and (soap opera) real life is here. Maxie is well enough to go home, but knows this isn't going to be easy.
While Maxie is thrilled to reunite with her children, as well as her friends and loved ones, seeing Nathan after all these years is going to be hard. A lot has changed and everyone is bracing for fallout, including Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).
Poor Spinelli wonders if he may lose Maxie and his family for good now that Nathan is back. Maxie and Nathan didn't choose to be apart and now they have the chance to put their family back together again. Will they take it?
Nathan's big surprise

When Liesl (Kathleen Gati) gets the news about Maxie's great awakening, she runs to Nathan to tell him that all his dreams are coming true and he can be with Maxie again. Considering his decision to pursue things with Lulu (Alexa Havins), that comes as quite a surprise. Just when Nathan thinks he is getting his life together, he is thrown this curveball.
Lulu also has to deal with her feelings for Nathan and her desire not to hurt Maxie. How could she do this to her best friend when she knows what it's like to emerge from a coma and learn that everything has changed without you? Maybe she should take Brook Lynn's (Amanda Setton) words to heart for now.
When Nathan visits his "grave," he stares at the name on the headstone until someone approaches him from behind. Will this be the first meeting between Nathan and Maxie since 2018? Did someone ever check to see who or what is in that casket anyway, since it was supposed to have been Nathan?
