The snowstorm on General Hospital stranded many characters together, including Lulu and Nathan. After a deep talk, the two kissed! Now, Alexa Havins, who plays Lulu, is dissecting the smooch and what it all means!
General Hospital, Alexa Havins talks Lathan's kiss

Okay, it might be too early to give Nathan, played by Ryan Paevey, and Lulu a "smush" handle (Nulu? Lathan?), but the two are on their way to looking at that possibility now that they've shared a kiss!
Havins told Soap Opera Digest she suspected that Lulu and Nathan might be paired together, as she was the one who spied the presumed-dead Nathan in the car crash that reintroduced him to the canvas last year.
Naturally, Havins addressed the issue of Lulu being paired romantically with Maxie's (Kirsten Storms) husband as the two women are best friends. "My job is to take what's on the page and to try to elevate it and make it interesting, and this certainly makes for a great story!" Havins said.
Havins believes that a Lulu and Nathan connection never would have happened if Maxie were in Port Charles and not in a coma. The actress muses on real-life stories of when a man dies, and his widow ends up marrying the late man's best friend. Havins, in fact, theorizes that Maxie's predicament has helped bond Nathan and Lulu. She likens their situation to what it must be like to be in a survivor's group.
General Hospital, a "Storms" a brewin'

The actress, who first came to the attention of soap fans as Babe on All My Children, praises the GH writers for scripting a "slow burn" between Lulu and Nathan. "There was no flirting," observes Havins. "I thought they did a really nice job of laying that slow foundation."
She suggests that sometimes one may not know an emotional connection is being formed until it hits you right in the face! Watch for Lulu to think of Maxie once the realization of the kiss sets in, which is not to say that she's not attracted to Nathan.
Havins points out that human emotions can't be shut off like a light switch. GH wouldn't be a soap opera if there weren't conflict on the horizon. Storms' return to GH is set for Thursday, February 12. How will she react to not only learning that Nathan's alive, but that he and her pal have formed an incredibly close bond?
