General Hospital star Lisa LoCicero is a proud mama at another TV hospital setting

On General Hospital, Lisa LoCicero plays a proud, feisty, and loving mother as the pride of Bensonhurst, Olivia Quartermaine.

Now, LoCicero has found another reason to be a joyful mama in a hospital setting. Her son, Lukas Jann, earned one of his biggest acting roles to date in his young career. He guest stars on the current episode of The Pitt, which debuted on HBO Max on February 5th.

The Pitt is a show that depicts a day in the life at a fictional hospital in Pittsburgh. Its episodes are structured like the classic series 24, with each episode of the show depicting an hour in real time.

The star is Noah Wyle, who recently won a primetime Emmy for playing Dr. Michael “Robbie” Robinavitch. Wyle became famous for playing an emergency room physician, Dr. John Carter, on ER.

LoCicero showed her proud mama side on her Instagram account, sharing pictures of her son on the episode. In the pictures, Jann appears to be concerned about someone who is being treated in the trauma center.

LoCicero combined her joy at seeing her son onscreen with her classic humor, recounting a time years ago when she saw Wyle in Los Angeles.

She captioned the post, “My baby @lukas.jann on The Pitt. so great to see you shine!! I always remember taking Luke on the Griffith Park choo choo train with my mom one afternoon when he was a tiny baby...the only other rider was a young Noah Wyle and his little baby...I was like...'Mom.. if you ask him for his autograph I will kill you'… (because I’m a jerk) I was def not thinking.. 'probably someday this little baby and that dude will be on a random TV episode together'...but...life is sometimes just funny enough.”

Many General Hospital co-stars liked the post. Several commented with congratulations.

Kate Mansi (Kristina Corinthos-Davis) said, “Aw, love this full circle moment!” Kate Grahn, daughter of Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) and a musician, commented, “thought I recognized him!!”

Jessica Collins (ex-Avery, The Young and the Restless) commented, “Woohoo!!!”

Many fans complimented his work, too. Instagram user missyags said, “He was perfect. So fun to see him up on screen!” User fanshanntorr said, “Yes! I know this is only the very beginning for him, and he’s going to go so far in his career and in life overall. Such a beautiful, kind. and sensitive ‘kid’”

The user theericackerman said, “Oh my gosh, I kept saying to myself I knew this kid from somewhere. LOL” Another fan, yorkkelsie1993 said, “Wow Lukas congratulations, I bet (you’re) one proud mama Lisa.”

The user janeyzgoldberg praised LoCicero for being a great mother, saying, “Nothing better than seeing your kid shine! That’s your (heart emoji) on that screen. Congrats!”

Jann, who graduated from USC in 2024, has recently starred in films Alma and the Wolf and Organ Trail. His mom also stars in Organ Trail. Both are available on streaming outlets.
