GH Spoilers July 29: The Quartermaines Deal With a MASSIVE Surprise

General Hospital brings big surprises to Port Charles residents on Wednesday, as the latest spoilers for July 29, 2026, show various residents reacting to the odd news that a paralyzed Drew is suddenly...fine.

Before Gio (Giovanni Mazza) became an actual Quartermaine, Gio was the Quartermaine crier, which is kind of like the town crier, but he only blabbed big news and secrets in the Q mansion. Gio reverts to his old self on Wednesday when he informs his family that Drew (Cameron Mathison) is all better now.

Sure, he may have been in a wheelchair last night, unable to move an inch (or so everyone thought), but he managed to hold onto the edge of a dock and then stand up and walk right into Gio's car so Gio could drive him home. The Quartermaines listen to this news while scratching their heads, but Tracy (Jane Elliot) has a declaration.

Drew might have been allowed on the property when he couldn't walk and talk to watch Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) swim, but there is no way she wants him there when he can keep yammering on again.

When news spreads to the hospital, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is floored. "How is this possible?" she asks. She had enough trouble getting Willow to agree to get Drew a communications board. How could he not even need it 12 hours later?

Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) are also confused. They immediately assume that Drew had to have gone to the police and reported Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), but then they learn he didn't. They know something more is going on than meets the eye, but they don't know Willow is aware they know what she did last September.

Drew wastes no time being his ever-charming self when he heads over to Alexis' (Nancy Lee Grahn) house to see his daughter. Is Drew about to take Scout from her grandmother again and forbid her to see Danny?

Drew even appears to be making threats, but if Scout walks in, he is going to have to put a big smile on his face and make nice. Drew can't have his daughter learning what a terrible person he actually is.
