General Hospital slides into the new month with some curveballs in Port Charles. The latest spoilers sneak peek video for August 3 to 7, 2026, shows things heating up for Michael, Curtis facing the music, and Sonny needing to accept reality.
Plans in Motion

Lucy (Lynn Herring) brought Serena (Kelly Kruger) to town for a reason, and it looks like that reason is Michael (Rory Gibson). Way too many Quartermaines now have their hands in the Deception pie and Lucy doesn't like it. She thinks she can use Serena to distract Michael and Serena seems more than game to give it a try while wearing a bikini at the Metro Court Pool.
Meanwhile, Michael seems to also have trouble on his hands with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Serena, and some pills. Michael asks Jacinda (Paige Herschell) what she has done while Nina (Cynthia Watros) asks Willow the same thing. Are those two questions related?
Willow is determined to fight Michael for more custody and use his relationship with Jacinda to do it. If she can't find anything current to use on Jacinda, will planting pills do the trick? And what did Jacinda do that might concern Michael?
Curtis on Trial

Curtis (Donnell Turner) has his day in court, but it doesn't look like it will go well for him. He is too much of a hothead not to have some sort of outburst and he really does not have a good defense at all.
If Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) comes forward, Curtis' entire case falls apart. Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) will be vindicated and Curtis will end up behind bars for the foreseeable future. Will Curtis wish he had taken the plea deal?
Retirement Plans

Sonny (Maurice Benard) can barely believe it when Jason (Steve Burton) announces his plans to retire. He never thought he would see the day, despite spending the beginning of 2025 talking about it. They said as soon as they knew who set the fire bomb in Sonny's penthouse that they would retire. Well, that ordeal is over and Jason is now ready.
The last few months taught him that his choices all led to this and now he has to choose to be there for his motherless teenage son. Can Sonny understand that and maybe reflect on his own life?
Are you ready for Willow unleashed? Does Curtis deserve to go to jail? Is Jason right to retire? Sound off in the comments.
