GH Video Preview July 31: Sonny's Back in Business, Jason Freaks Out, Drew Delivers an Ominous Warning

General Hospital ends July with a packed episode full of fallout, new beginnings, and new questions. The latest spoilers video for Friday, July 31, 2026, shows Sonny meeting with Ric, Jason needing answers, Drew being Drew, and more.

Fresh Starts for Sonny and Carly

Sonny (Maurice Benard) holds court in his living room again as he and Ric (Rick Hearst) discuss a bidding war that Sonny wants to control. Are Sonny's piers up for auction? Is he ready to get back in business? With Sidwell (Carlo Rota) in jail and Jason (Steve Burton) home, Sonny might want to revert to form.

Carly (Laura Wright) is not looking back at all and only seems to be looking forward to a future with Sonny. When she dines with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) at the Metro Court Gardens, she asks him what happens now. Does he have big plans now that he has some money again?

Hospital Happenings

Jason (Steve Burton) is surprised when he sees Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) talking to the man who escorted him back from Jakarta. He hadn't realized this man was a doctor and asks Britt what she knows about the man she was just talking to.

Jack (Chris McKenna) had already been by to speak with Dr. Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer), which was odd enough. And now Jason is asking questions. This will pique Britt's curiosity even more.

Britt doesn't have much time to think about it because it's time for the big softball game. Lucas (Van Hansis) and Detective Joe (Jonathan Bennett) appear to have an argument before the game. Who will win? GH or the PCPD? Does Corinthos Coffee get in on the act?

Drew Means Business

Drew (Cameron Mathison) is back in action and ready for a fight, but first, he has to get in a swim. Apparently, his trip into the lake the night before wasn't enough for him. This time, he needs a proper pool, so he makes his presence known as Port Charles' hottest summer hangout.

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) is there dressed for business, as so many people are at this pool. When Drew sees Brook Lynn, he makes no time being his old, threatening self. He tells Brook Lynn that he is going to make sure the Quartermaines lose everything. And Tracy (Jane Elliot) was just about to allow him back onto the property, too.
