GH Video Preview October 9: 'Hero' Chase to the Wrong Rescue

General Hospital's Chase ends the week with a big clown nose on his face. According to the latest spoilers video from ABC, Chase wants to help Willow (of course), Gio has news for Sonny, and Curtis gets a big surprise.

Chase, Chill

Has there ever been a bigger fool than Chase? | Image: ABC

Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) can only roll her eyes and snicker in the background as that dutiful fool Chase (Josh Swickard) comes barreling into Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) gatehouse with his cape, ready to ride to her rescue. Willow is surprised but not surprised that Chase doesn't believe a word in that article. She realizes she's done a stellar job keeping up that sent-from-the-heavens persona.

Chase tells Willow that she has to let him help her fight back. Those pesky Quartermains have no right to roll over his precious little flower like that and plant such a terrible story. It has to be fake news, right? If it wasn't fake news, then Chase would have to admit he made an error in judgment that cost him his family. He might even keep this up for another 10 years.

Moving Out

Gio and Sonny have another chat | Image: ABC

Sonny (Maurice Benard) gets another blow when Gio (Giovanni Mazza) arrives to tell him that he is moving out and he and Emma (Braedyn Bruner) are getting their own place together. Sonny doesn't want Gio to go and once again makes his case. Sonny really thought that Gio was one of the few people who believed that he wasn't behind the Pentonville attack.

Now, Sonny is learning otherwise. Gio tells Sonny that this is his decision alone. Is this before or after Sonny defends himself? Will Gio believe his grandfather this time?

Curtis' Surprise

Monet is quite sure of herself | Image: ABC

Monet (Blythe Howard) waited till just the right moment to tell Curtis (Donnell Turner) that she was Jordan's (Tanisha Harper) sister. They shook on a new client-attorney deal and she dropped her bombshell. As they spar about this revelation, Monet declares that Jordan has no idea what she is capable of.

Meanwhile, Stella (Vernee Watson) is in the hospital halls telling Portia (Brook Kerr) that Baby Dez needs his dad. And Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) is in with Sidwell (Carlo Rota), learning that plans can change in an instant. Hmmm...

Do we want to put the Dunce Cap on Chase? Will Gio finally believe Sonny? Sound off in the comments.
