GH Video Preview September 1: Jack Brennan's Dead Man's Float Causes Chaos Everywhere

General Hospital begins the new month with a splash as Charlotte and Danny's last swim of the season invites a new mystery. According to the latest spoilers video for Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the teens' find lead Ava and Drew trying to figure out what to do next. Uh-oh.

What would a summer season be in Port Charles if there wasn't a horrible mishap at the Metro Court pool? From Ned's (Wally Kurth) amnesia to Kristina's (Kate Mansi) window fall, there is always some sort of odd calamity. This time the calamity appears to lead to Jack Brennan's (Chris McKenna) death.

Whether he got off at the wrong floor and stumbled into the pool after Ava (Maura West) drugged him or whether someone pushed him in remains to be seen. (Why was Willow even at the Metro Court?)

Ava and Drew (Cameron Mathison) are alarmed when they learn what happened, with Ava declaring that she is not going to go down for this one.

While chaos takes place at the pool, Jason (Steve Burton) and Carly (Laura Wright) try to figure out why someone disabled the Metro Court's security system. Someone went to a whole lot of trouble to make sure nobody could see what was really going on in that hotel. Little do they know that the crime that took place was an added bonus to the intended crime. What a mess!

While chaos and calamities abound at the Metro Court, Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Gio's (Giovanni Mazza) big night is about to become a big deal. They wow the crowd, but Simon wants even more from them. Simon also wants Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) to step aside so that Gio and Trina look like a couple, whether anyone likes it or not. Simon goes as far as to tell Kai he could be the reason that Trina doesn't succeed.

Ric (Rick Hearst) also has another crisis on his hands and calls Lulu (Alexa Havins) for help again. What has happened this time and will Lulu get sick of this? She cannot be Ric's dating therapist forever when she really needs to find a man of her own.
