General Hospital is firing on all cylinders this week with some new and old arrivals in town. According to the latest spoilers video for Thursday, July 16, 2026, Sonny is ready to interfere, Curtis meets "my child," and Josslyn has some explaining to do.
Nosy Sonny

Sonny (Maurice Benard) sticks his nose where it doesn't belong when he flies Brick (Stephen A. Smith) in from California to take care of his ex-wife problems. Sonny doesn't like seeing Carly (Laura Wright) with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and thinks it's his place to end her latest relationship. They haven't been married for more than four years, but that is neither here nor there to Sonny because he has to control things.
Brick has always worried about Carly, as she holds a special place in his heart. He even helped Josslyn cut the power at Wyndemere, so why wouldn't he help her mom out of a jam? It doesn't matter if Carly likes the jam she is in. Josslyn (Eden McCoy), Sonny and Brick don't like it and plan to do something about it.
Curtis' Dream Come True

After months of pontificating about meeting his child, being there for his child, and making sure his child is raised properly, Curtis (Donnell Turner) finally has his moment. He rushes to GH as soon as she hears that his girlfriend delivered his ex-wife's baby on her living room floor.
Stella (Vernee Watson) tries to stop Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) from interrupting a moment between the happy parents and their new son, but she doesn't appear to be successful. This baby was born into a soapy situation and is going to have to get used to things.
And What About Cassius?

Port Charles is working under the premise that Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) is dead and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) thinks that makes tarnishing his name perfectly fine. Since Valentin and Jason (Steve Burton) are free men, we think that is fine since Cassius will likely return as one of the good guys. (Did he take a black box out of Wyndemere?)
Liesl (Kathleen Gati) does not agree with Josslyn and chews her out for her false statement. Liesl knows that Josslyn had faith in Cassius and realizes that Josslyn lied, but why?
Anna (Finola Hughes) also wants more info on Cassius, which seems to be driven by Peter's (Wes Ramsey) voice in her head. She corners Britt in the GH stairwell to get more information about Cesar Faison's (Anders Hove) fourth child.
Should Sonny mind his own business? Do you think Curtis is really the father of Portia's baby? Sound off in the comments.
