GH Video Spoilers August 21: 'Together We Can Take Sonny Down'

General Hospital brings the week in for a close with Ava and Drew taking another meeting at Carly's hotel, because that is all they have done of late. According to the latest spoilers video for Friday, August 21, 2026, you will also see Sonny paying someone a visit, Curtis getting ready for jail, and Laura giving a warning.

Pentonville Players, Part 1

A lot is happening at Pentonville now that Curtis (Donnell Turner) is about to become a resident. The arrogant Aurora CEO has to give up his job to spend 10 years behind bars for impulsively punching a man, but he is going to make the best of things with Jordan (Tanisha Harper) before he goes. Jordan and Curtis say a tender goodbye in bed as he prepares to turn himself in.

Trina (Tabyana Ali) is a mess over what is happening to her father, but does not understand why her mother isn't equally as broken and stressed. She expects Portia (Brook Kerr) to say goodbye, but Portia thinks it's best if she is not there at all. Curtis can bid his infant son farewell without her around.

Pentonville Players Part 2

When Curtis gets to Pentonville, will he end up in a cell with Sidwell (Carlo Rota), or at least in the library? They can talk all about Jordan together. But before that, Sidwell gets another visitor in the form of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Sonny wants Sidwell's assets, as well as his piers back, for legitimate business purposes, of course. Sonny tells Sidwell that he has a different way of doing things now. Sidwell might want to look into that when he somehow manages to free himself from prison.

Back at the Metro Court

Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Ava (Maura West) take another meeting in which they discuss their desire to bring down Sonny, but they don't make it clear what they want to bring him down from. They don't yet know that he has decided to leave the illegal aspect of his business behind, so they can't bring him down from that. But they plot and plan anyway and seem to be getting some good meals out of it.

Laura (Genie Francis) seems to also be at the Metro Court Gardens ready for a new day of work, but first she has to warn someone that they are dealing with a very vindictive and dangerous person.
