GH Video Spoilers August 31 to September 4: 'He's Dead' — Tricks, Traps, and a Stunning Discovery

General Hospital hops back into action this week after a rather docile month. It looks like Port Charles is going to have a dead body on its hands and another big mystery to solve. According to the latest spoilers video for August 31 to September 4, 2026, Drew and Ava's big gamble produces some surprising results.

The Break-In

And Drew (Cameron Mathison) thought he could find his way into Jack's (Chris McKenna) room undetected when Carly (Laura Wright) has a state-of-the-art security system installed at the Metro Court. When Carly gets wind that someone is fiddling with the security cameras, she brings in Jason (Steve Burton) and they start investigating.

Meanwhile, Drew is in Jack's room trying to get into the safe, but he may be caught. Ava finds him and warns him that they are running out of time and need to get out of there right away, but Drew isn't leaving without getting what he came for.

Poor Jack has no idea that Ava (Maura West) slipped a sleeping pill into his drink at the Metro Court Gardens. Is that why he looks like he has seen better days when he gets into the elevator at the Metro Court restaurant? He certainly looks like he shouldn't be wandering near any swimming pools at night at the end of pool season.

We do know from Friday's teaser that Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) takes a late-night dip in the pool and we do hear her screaming in this week's promo. We also hear Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) declaring that someone is dead, so things aren't looking very good for Jack Brennan as the week begins.

Anna Must Complete the Mission

The Peter voice in Anna's (Finola Hughes) head moves full speed ahead this week when Anna lures Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) into the woods on the pretense of giving her secret information about Cassius (Ryan Paevey).

Britt asks Anna why they had to meet so far out of town late at night. She knows there's something wrong when Anna tells her it's so nobody can hear her scream. Anna even appears to have a gun trained on Britt.

It looks like it's going to be a very busy time for Jason as he has to come to Carly's rescue at the start of the week and Britt's rescue by the end.
