Live with Kelly and Mark: Kelly Ripa Sees a 'Kelly and Mark' Destiny for GH's Braedyn Bruner and Giovanni Mazza

General Hospital is still ABC's sole soap opera, but actors from that show can still cross over to another daytime show — sort of. Braedyn Bruner and Giovanni Mazza, who play lovebirds Emma and Gio on GH, met up with former All My Children stars Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on their daytime talk show, Live with Kelly and Mark!

Something to Talk About

Bruner and Mazza scored some front row seats in the studio audience of Live with Kelly and Mark, which tapes in New York City, when the GH stars had some time off. They weren't guests on the program, but Consuelos and Ripa popped out to greet the relative soap newcomers during a commercial break, as seen above in the Instagram post.

Bruner made sure to pass along a big hello from Finola Hughes (Anna), who used to play her GH character on AMC when Ripa and Consuelos were living in Pine Valley as Hayley and Mateo. "She told me I had to tell y'all, 'hello,'" Bruner smiled about her TV grandmother passing along her greetings. "She's the best."

Mazza shared with Consuelos that he'd been on GH for almost two and a half years, and that Bruner has been on the show for almost two.

The daytime shooting schedule has always been a fast-paced one, but Consuelos asked the GH stars what a tape day is like for them. "Like 30, 40 [pages], sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less," Bruner said.

"Now we shoot 8 episodes a week," Mazza added. Consuelos added he knew that sometimes "pieces of episodes" are shot on a given day.

"It's crazy, right?" Ripa said, remembering her days as Pine Valley's Hayley.

"Once you get it, though, you get it," Consuelos said of the muscle that learns to memorize copious amounts of dialogue.

Mazza explained to Ripa that Bruner screentested with him and they've been scene partners ever since.

"Amazing," Ripa said with a smile. "Just so you know -- that's how we met. That's how we met. Listen, just letting you know, the future is, you're probably going to wind up hosting a talk show...72 years from now, you know, but it'll be the talk show in all of our heads. We blink, and then we see it [in our minds].

"Technology will have changed by then," a smiling Ripa deadpanned
