Before the late Robert Kelker-Kelly became Stavros on General Hospital and before he was Bo Brady on Days of our Lives, the actor was Sam Fowler on Another World. The late actor's leading lady, Sandra Dee Robinson, who played Amanda Cory, is remembering her co-star. Remembering RKK View this post on Instagram Instagram Post"Certainly a shock to hear of my former co-star Robert Kelker-Kelly’s passing," Robinson posted on Instagram. "My first years in TV on Another World were a whirlwind, and Robert and I had no idea how popular our storyline would be… or what that meant. "We learned together!" the actress continued. "It was not always an easy time working together on that show, but years later, we would laugh on calls about life. I know he enjoyed being a pilot … grateful to have had the opportunity to know him. It is sad news to see he’s passed."Sam and Amanda, Star-Crossed LoversRobert Kelker Kelly | Image: YouTube Sam and Amanda had history built into their dynamic before they ever met. His half-brother, Mitch Blake (William Grey Espy), was the former lover of Amanda's mother, Rachel (Victoria Wyndham). In fact, Amanda's half-brother, Matthew (Matt Crane), was fathered by Mitch! So, Matthew was both Sam's nephew and his brother-in-law. Sam and Amanda's in-person relationship began with a lie. He was working as a designer at her father, Mackenzie Cory's (Douglass Watson), company, Cory Publishing. Not wanting to play the "boss's daughter" card, Amanda went by an alias -- Mandy Ashtin. Sam discovered the truth, however, and had to get past her deception. Amanda learned that she was pregnant with Sam's daughter, Alexandra "Alli" Cory Fowler (later played by Lindsay Lohan). The two married, but the union didn't last, as Amanda had a fling with Evan Frame (Charles Grant). Amanda wanted to reconcile with Sam, which prompted Evan to try to frame Sam. He wanted everyone to think that Sam was trying to kill Amanda! Evan's scheme was exposed, but it was too late for Sam and Amanda, and the couple divorced. Kelker-Kelly returned to AW in 1996, but not as Sam. He played the role of Bobby Reno, who turned out to be, in reality, Dr. Shane Roberts. Kelker-Kelly left the show a second time in 1998 when Shane was killed in a car accident. He was not paired on-screen with Amanda as Bobby/Shane. Robinson had left AW in 1993. While other actresses took on the role of Rachel's daughter, Robinson returned to the show in 1998 and remained on the program until its final episode in June 1999.
