Valentin's Black Box Plan Will Blow Carly's Mind on General Hospital

General Hospital offers another day of intrigue on Wednesday. According to spoilers for July 22, 2026, Valentin lays out his next move, Anna has some pointed questions for Jack, and Curtis is ready to play Daddy.

Black Box Surprises

Carly (Laura Wright) turns her attention from the flash drive she's hiding in her hand to the high-tech black box Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) brought home last night. They seem to realize it belongs to Jack and is quite valuable, so Valentin is going to put it to good use. He needs leverage and thinks he has everything he needs.

As Valentin lays out his plan with Carly, she begins to grow nervous and wonders how far Jack (Chris McKenna) will go to get the box back. Would he kill for it? Maybe Nina (Cynthia Watros) would kill for it, but her need for the black box isn't even on their radar. Carly is a little hesitant to go along with Valentin's plan, but she will just have to trust him.

Anna Gets to Work

While his black box is in Carly's kitchen, Jack and Anna (Finola Hughes) have their first meeting since she's been back. Anna is ready to figure out what really happened when she was gone, but she is missing evidence and files. She can't imagine that Jason would shoot Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) so sloppily, so she questions Jack.

He doesn't really want to talk about the matter, but Anna can tell he is sure that Jason didn't shoot Cullum. She just wants to know how Jack can be so certain.

Too Much Curtis Already?

Portia (Brook Kerr) and her baby boy are doing so well that it's almost time to go home. In fact, Curtis (Donnell Turner) wants to be there for his first night in his new room, so he offers to stay at Portia's place. That may be the last thing Portia wants, as there is definitely such a thing as too much Curtis.

Teasers say that Portia also surprises Curtis. Does the surprise have something to do with Curtis' request or is it about what she wants to name the little man? Will Portia's choice have special meaning for Curtis?
