Nina's 'Wild Idea' — Is General Hospital's Drew About to Get Tossed Into the Lake?

General Hospital's Drew can't stay "locked-in" forever, so after about six months, it's time for our favorite smarmy (former) congressman to emerge from his paralytic state and start terrorizing the town again, so how will it happen?

They've Tried It All

Drew (Cameron Mathison) is already starting to move and speak, but the ladies who have been keeping him in that state need to keep him quiet just a little bit longer. When Jack (Chris McKenna) suggested killing him, Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) balked, but the idea has started to grow on Willow. Perhaps it will grow on Nina too.

As Jack pointed out, Willow is not very good at this bringing down Drew thing, as shooting him in the back twice and injecting him with a paralytic drug hasn't worked. Maybe it's time for Nina to get the job done instead. After all, she did tell Drew there is no line she wouldn't cross for her daughter.

He's a Navy SEAL After All

The perfect setup is now there for Nina to give it a shot later this week. On Monday's episode, Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) asked Tracy (Jane Elliot) if she could practice for an open-water swim competition in the Q lake and even got permission for her father to be on the property.

We also know from the weekly promo that Nina is outside the Q boathouse with Drew when he starts speaking to her for the first time since Willow plunged that syringe into his neck in January.

Spoilers also say that Nina gets a "wild idea" on Thursday. All of this points toward Nina doing something wacky like pushing Drew and his wheelchair into the lake. This could lead to a daring rescue by Scout, a champion swimmer who learned from the best.

While Drew's muscles are still not working right, the water sometimes helps with movement. Since Drew was once a Navy SEAL, his swimming skills are top-notch. Between Drew helping himself and Scout's assistance, Drew would survive, proving Jack's point that nobody can seem to bring him down.

But nobody can seem to bring Willow down either. Would this be the thing that does it or will Drew decide to keep quiet for his own nefarious reasons?

Do you think Willow will be exposed soon? Do you see Scout as a rebellious teen? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
