Now that we know that General Hospital's Drew is framing Nina for Jack's death, it looks like she's up a creek without a paddle. But several people in Port Charles may be able to help her out of this jam. Here are 5 GH characters who may help her thwart Drew's plan.

Alexis Davis

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) attorney when Willow was accused of shooting Drew. Alexis won the case, securing an acquittal for Willow, even after she discovered that Willow was actually guilty.

As Willow's mother, Nina (Cynthia Watros), was by Willow's side, supporting her throughout the trial. If Nina is arrested for killing Jack (Chris McKenna), then she may put her faith in Alexis again and ask Alexis to represent her.

Alexis may not take Nina's case, though, considering that she knows Willow shot Drew (Cameron Mathison). Alexis may not trust Nina either, so she may turn down Nina's request.

Ric Lansing

Ric (Rick Hearst) is a sharp lawyer as well, and he is Nina's ex-husband. If Alexis refuses to take Nina's case, then Nina could ask Ric to represent her.

Ric is not exactly friends with Nina, but he needs to get back in the courtroom and try a new case. All we've seen him do lately is sit around and worry that Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is going to dump him for Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Ric needs more to do than fret over his personal life. He needs to get back in the game and do what he does best, which is practice law.

Willow Tait

If Nina is arrested, then Willow may want to do something to keep her mother from going to prison, since Nina is the only person she can confide in about her past crimes.

Willow could give Nina an alibi by telling the police that she and Nina spent the evening together at Nina's place. Even though Willow had drinks with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) at the Metro Court, Willow could tell the police that after she and Britt parted ways, she spent the rest of the evening with Nina.

Valentin Cassadine

Nina has a personal history with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Even though they aren't romantically involved anymore, they will always care about each other's welfare. He knows Nina better than anyone else does. If she tells him she didn't kill Jack, then Val will believe her, and he may do whatever he can to help her.

Furthermore, Val has a professional history with Jack, since they used to work together in the WSB, and they were both involved in the Pikeman organization. Val may try to help Nina identify the true culprit who is responsible for Jack's death.

If the storyline goes in that direction, then Carly will not be happy at all. She doesn't trust Nina, so she won't want Val to help her in any way. Carly will warn him not to get involved in Nina's problems. This would create drama and tension for new lovers Carly and Val, which would create a great new subplot in this storyline. After all, drama and tension are what soaps thrive on.

Ava Jerome

Since Ava (Maura West) is Nina's best friend, she is the last person who would want to see Nina go down in flames for Jack's death. Once she learns that Drew has set up Nina to take the fall for Ava's and Drew's own actions, Ava will finally realize that Nina's warnings about Drew were accurate. But how can Ava keep Nina out of prison without incriminating herself?

The chances that Ava will confess to the police to save Nina are slim to none. But Ava may want to do something to help her friend. She may simply tell the police that she and Nina were hanging out at Nina's place or her own place before she went to the Metro Court to have drinks with Drew.

As some GH fans are saying, this ordeal is going to be a true test of Ava's friendship with Nina. If Ava incriminates herself to save Nina, then Ava may get sent to prison, leaving Avery without a mother. The last thing Ava wants is for Sonny (Maurice Benard) to have sole custody of Avery while she (Ava) is rotting away in prison.

Which of the five characters on this list (if any) will most likely help Nina thwart Drew's plan to frame her? Tell us in the comments section, GH fans.
