The War of the Cains? What Comes Next For General Hospital's Gruesome Twosome?

Drew's time in a wheelchair is up on General Hospital, but that means it looks like Willow's time in the barrel has come. She thinks she's finally free of the hell she created for herself by cheating on her husband, but Drew made it very clear that Willow is not going to have a good time of it in the months to come.

Drew may have told Willow they had a deal, but he doesn't look as scared at those white collar charges as he Willow thinks he is. Even when she invoked Scout, Drew didn't seem to flinch. He may have told Willow they had a deal, but as Drew said, he has infinitely more dirt on Nina and Willow than they have on him.

And that means that Drew has blackmail material. When Willow left, Drew seemed to already have a plan. We all know Drew loved his congressional power, so it would make sense that he would want that power back. And it made no sense that Drew would easily give that up. If he can manage to get that evidence away from Jack, would he blackmail Willow into staying with him, putting forth the perfect miracle story with the perfect congressional wife? That would be more torture than jail.

The Hate Part

While that may seem like the same old, same old in this never-ending Willow and Drew saga, it will actually add a new element. In 2024, we watched Willow fall for Drew. In 2025, we watched her become completely obsessed until she snapped. In 2026, we have been watching chaotic and unhinged Willow...so far. But what if the rest of the year is Willow and Drew hating each other, but also keeping up appearances?

We have never seen Willow and Drew in 'War of the Roses' mode yet. Maybe we'll watch them put on their happy faces in public, while seething at each other behind closed doors, but also coming up with new ways to torture and hurt the other.

This could add a whole new dynamic and layer to their long story and this could be the most fun one yet. And don't forget. Drew also has plenty of blackmail material on Nina and Jack too...
