“He may know more than the public knows”: Candace Owens raises eyebrows, says Ben Shapiro knows more about Charlie Kirk’s murder

Candace Owens has been allegedly involved in the investigation of Charlie Kirk’s murder case. Her theories regarding Charlie’s murder have encountered criticism from various commentators and podcasters, including Ben Shapiro and Alex Jones. Owens has regularly replied to backlash in her podcasts.

On January 7, Owens targeted Shapiro in her podcast. She touched upon Ben’s alleged behavior shift towards Kirk since his death. Owens seemed suspicious of Ben’s behavior, and she suggested that he knows more than the public about Charlie’s murder. Owens said:

“And Ben Shapiro's behavior since Charlie Kirk's assassination leads me to believe that he may know more than the public knows about Charlie Kirk's death. That's how I deeply feel. I feel that in my soul. He's behaving as though Charlie's company was promised to him 3,000 years ago. Okay? Like he assumed that he would somehow benefit off of his death.”

Owens further claimed that Ben Shapiro benefited from Charlie Kirk’s death.

“And I'm getting in the way of that somehow. And by the way, if that is if he did benefit from Charlie's death, it would not be the first time, in fact, it wouldn't be the first time at all that Ben Shapiro sought to pervert the legacy of a dead man to his own benefit. What am I talking about? Yeah, I'm talking about Ben Shapiro did before he started the Daily Wire.”

Candace Owens claimed Ben Shapiro was not Charlie Kirk’s friend

Elsewhere, in the podcast, Owens claimed that Shapiro was never a friend of Charlie Kirk.

“I mean, honestly, we've all been trying to work through. Charlie Kirk's assassination has catalyzed a certain derangement in Ben Shapiro. Ben was not a friend of Charlie Kirk. So, the question is why? Why is he so obsessed with the Charlie Kirk narrative or rather obsessed with stopping people from prodding that narrative?”

She went on to say that Shapiro even worked behind the scenes to make things difficult for Charlie and her after they rose to fame. She claimed that Ben took Charlie as a threat when he got famous.

“As soon as he began like when Charlie was coming up, as soon as he Ben began to perceive Charlie as a threat, which is essentially after the Kanye West tweet, yeah, I love the way Candace Owens thinks tweet. Ben got to work behind the scenes trying to complicate and stop Charlie's rise and my rise. These are just the facts and they are indisputable.”

Owens even claimed that Shapiro paid money for a prime speaking spot at TPUSA AmFest. Ben took the stage at AmFest right after Erika Kirk’s opening speech. TPUSA AmFest was held from December 18 to 21 last year.

“Uh Ben quite literally paid money for a prime speaking spot speaking slot uh at Amfest hitting the stage just after Erika Kirk opening opened where he again attacked me.”

Ben Shapiro criticized Candace during his speech at TPUSA AmFest.
