Comedian Andrew Schulz decried President Donald Trump and his administration following the recent ICE raids, despite previously voting for him. During the latest episode of his “Flagrant” podcast, Andrew Schulz slammed ICE for their disastrous “spin” of Alex Pretti’s demise in Minnesota, labelling it as “f**king disgusting." “Let’s talk about what happened in Minneapolis,” Schulz said on Wednesday’s episode. “ICE murdered an American citizen in cold blood and then the Trump administration called him a domestic terrorist. That’s it. Like, plain and simple. I see the administration trying to spin it, and it’s fucking disgusting.” Andrew Schulz gets candid about distancing himself from President Trump: Read more HuffPost has reported that several eyewitness videos from Minneapolis show Alex Pretti, a U.S. citizen who worked as an ICU nurse, fighting with and then getting wrestled to the ground before he was eventually disarmed and killed. The incident occurred at the hands of CBP agents. He was 37 years old. White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller has since dubbed Pretti a “would-be assassin” who allegedly “tried to murder federal agents” before he died. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem claimed that he was involved in "domestic terrorism." “They didn’t even have a moment where they’re like, ‘Hey, we’re reviewing the footage, we’re going to try to see what’s really happening,’” Andrew Schulz said. “All of them, Trump and all the cronies, put out collective statements that immediately blamed an American citizen that was exercising his First and Second Amendment rights. Right? He has the right to protest. He has the right to carry a firearm.” He continued, “If you seen with your own eyes, you know exactly what happened. And there’s something disgusting that’s happening, not just in Minneapolis, I’m sure it’s happening in other parts of the United States. Every time something horrific happens, they keep going, ‘but look at the pedophiles we got. Look at the murderers we got. Look at all the violent criminals we got.” Schulz added, “I looked at the numbers. It’s five percent of the people they deported are violent criminals.”Andrew Schulz famously interviewed the president in October 2024 before declaring he voted for him the following month. In the months since, however, he has distanced himself from Trump. In July 2025, he said on his Flagrant podcast that he didn't vote for any of the incumbent administration's actions: “He’s doing the exact opposite of everything I voted for. I want him to stop the wars—he’s funding them. I want him to shrink spending, reduce the budget—he’s increasing it,“ Schulz said. Stay tuned to SoapCentral for more.
