Wesley Snipes was one of the faces that defined action movies in the 1990s. He is an icon in film and made a triumphant return to the big screen as Blade in 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine after taking a hiatus.In the latest news about the New Jack City star, Kim Kardashian recently shared a story in which Wesley Snipes saved her years ago in New York City. While on her sister’s Khloé in Wonderland podcast, the reality television star gave some insight into a moment where the film star came to her rescue.“I went to New York once before with my dad, but never like on the party scene or anything. So, we all are at this club called Life — I remember it was like the place to be. We were at a club and then everyone's like, 'Oh my gosh, let's go back to like our friend's house for a party, and so my friend Sarah Howard, she wrote on my hand her dad's address and was like, 'If we lose each other, this is the address. So then [Sarah] hands me a $20 bill 'cuz we were sharing a purse and was like, 'Here's for a cab in case you like in case we can't find each other.”Kim continued,"So, at the end of the night, it's like 5 a.m., we're at this house party, no one to be found. [l] cannot find anyone. Don't have my money. — realize my $20 is gone. All I have is this address.”Then, at a moment when she felt hopeless, fate seemed to intervene.“I'm walking out, and I don't know if Wesley Snipes lived in the building or what, but he was there. We were passing each other, and I was like, 'Hi, sir. … I'm so sorry to interrupt your night, but do you think you can give me a ride home?’”After adding the caveat that he would give her a ride on the condition that they have breakfast first, Kim agreed. Over their meal, Kim alleges that Wesley Snipes began "schooling me like he's my father.” He told Kim,"I don't know how old you are, but you're too young to be out this late. You're too young to be at parties ... You shouldn't be out at the clubs. You shouldn't be at these things. I'm going to take you home, and I never want to see you out at these things until you're old enough."As of this report, Wesley Snipes has yet to comment on the story shared by Kim Kardashian on the Khloé in Wonderland podcast.Wesley Snipes plays the savior in a chance NYC meeting with Kim KardashianPerhaps the most interesting part of the story is that Wesley Snipes ostensibily did not know who Kim Kardashian was at the time, as it was before she became famous. The gesture was then one of good faith rather than one laced with incentives. As Kim puts it, she was just some "teenage girl in New York that [he] took to a cafe."Kim ended her story with the following,"I never saw him again. He saved my life. He schooled the sh*t out of me. Scared me to death [about] being at club because [after] I'm like, 'Oh, I'll never be at a club again.’ Shout out to Wesley Snipes.
