A lookalike of Jeffrey Epstein, whose name is Palm Beach Pete, has made headlines recently. As photos of him went viral after he was captured driving on I-95, social media users were taken aback by his resemblance to the late s*x offender. On March 20, TMZ caught up with Pete.

Host Harvey Levin asked him how the “national scandal” impacted his life. Palm Beach Pete said he was prepared for it because he had gone viral before, but this time, it was on a different scale. He shared:

“People come up to me. I was at a restaurant. They stopped me. A bunch of generation Z kids were whispering under their breath and I went by their table. I said, ‘Can I help you guys? Are you talking about me?’ And they said, ‘Yes, you're the guy that went viral.’ I said, ‘That's me.’ So, I'm recognized. I've always been recognized.”

Palm Beach Pete also shared:

“Back in the day when I was living in the city. I went to a couple of parties and Epstein was there at a party and he was kind of creepy just sitting on a couch staying to himself and he wasn't the magnitude that he is or was. So, he wasn't a big deal. He was mysterious. People didn't know how he made his money and where he, you know, what his story was.”

Palm Beach Pete said Jeffrey Epstein was a “really bad person.”

Palm Beach Pete recalled that when Jeffrey Epstein was arrested, people would look at him and give “double looks.” He also remembered a time when he was at a hockey game with his kids, and someone filmed him. Pete said:

“He filmed me and there was a banner that said Jeffrey Epstein rising from the grave. That that went viral. So, that was one incident.”

He shared that in another incident, he appeared briefly in an episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, where Sonja Morgan greeted him with a kiss. During COVID, someone from Gen Z posted that clip on TikTok with a misleading caption, and it quickly went viral before being taken down. He said he was used to such situations, but the level of attention this time felt overwhelming.

The hosts then asked how Palm Beach Pete dealt with people when they encountered him. He said he never faced any of those situations, even with conspiracy theories going around that Epstein is not actually dead. Pete mentioned:

“I've never had an encounter in face to face, but the comments online are pretty nasty, right?”

Harvey asked that since his hair looked so similar to Epstein’s, he must have thought of shaving his head or changing his looks. He said:

“I'm Palm Beach Pete. I'm a regular guy. I'm retired. I lived in the city for a long time. Worked in commercial real estate. I love to play tennis. I'm very social. I'm not going to change this. This guy is dead and he was a really bad person. And I can hold my head high.”

Palm Beach Pete said he didn’t do anything wrong. He just happened to have a resemblance to Epstein.
