Nicola Peltz is an American actress best known for her roles in the A&E drama series Bates Motel as well as Transformers: Age of Extinction. She married Brooklyn Beckham in 2022, and her personal life has been drawing a tremendous amount of attention after bombshell reports emerged detailing a rift between Nicola and Brooklyn and the Beckham family.

In the latest news on the familial tension, a butler who reportedly witnessed the proceedings has shared that Nicola Peltz gave Brooklyn Beckham a post-wedding ultimatum after his mother, Victoria, seemingly hijacked several special moments from the bride-to-be on her special day. He shared the following with The Sun,

“After the wedding Nicola was resolute to Brooklyn — you need to choose me or your mother. She wasn’t interested in backing down. Unfortunately Brooklyn wasn’t able to stand up for his mum and explain to Nicola that she’d massively overreacted.”

He continued,

“Nicola is the problem and the reason Brooklyn and his parents don’t talk.”

The butler went on to say that Nicola’s behavior was in response to singer Marc Anthony addressing Victoria Beckham as the most beautiful woman in the room before calling her to the stage instead of the bride for Brooklyn’s first dance.

“Nicola was upset by the words from Marc Anthony that preceded the dance. Victoria has been unfairly cast as a villain of the piece. The truth is Nicola behaved like a brat. She completely overreacted to the notion she’d been upstaged at her own wedding.”

While the butler does not paint Nicola Peltz in a positive light, it’s important to note that this is simply one account of what transpired.

Nicola Peltz faced a lawsuit from fired wedding planners

In other news, Page Six reported on Friday, January 23, that a lawsuit had been filed by fired wedding planners from Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham’s 2022 wedding. The lawsuit stated that the Beckham family’s guest list was organised to a tee, while conversely,

“Nicola continued sending text messages in a [group chat] adding and removing certain guests — making the task of creating a comprehensive and complete guest list a moving target.”

The lawsuit also claimed that,

“Both Claudia (Nicola’s mother) and Nicola had insisted that Victoria Beckham could not know about any internal mistakes regarding the ongoing planning of her son’s wedding, including any errors with the guest list.”

While the lawsuit was eventually settled in 2023, it points to the underlying dysfunction present throughout the wedding and seemingly in the time since the nuptials took place. It also shows that the narrative presented in Brooklyn Beckham's scathing Instagram post may not be entirely accurate.
