Victoria Beckham became an international sensation as part of the Spice Girls, one of the most influential pop music girl groups of all time. She also married English football sensation David Beckham, further adding to her cachet as an A-list celebrity.

In the most recent news about the former Posh Spice, English broadcaster Piers Morgan recently weighed in on the turmoil within the Beckham family, as a result of David and Victoria’s fractured relationship with their son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz. On the January 27 episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored, his YouTube show, he used his platform to make some truly shocking claims about the power couple.

“My take is this: the Beckhams, led by the parents, if David and Victoria could pre-emptively sell their death to Netflix for a 10-part series and bring the kids into it, they would.”

Morgan went on to add,

"They are the single most commercial money-grabbers I’ve ever seen in the history of celebrity, and that bar is very high.”

Morgan added that the Beckhams’ attention-seeking behavior has been “utterly shameless” over the years, before also comparing the situation to the infighting within the Royal Family. Neither Victoria nor David Beckham have responded to the recent claims as yet.

Victoria Beckham - French Ministry Knighthood, more

In the wake of all the turmoil within her family, Victoria Beckham was also recently given a major honor. On January 26, she was honored as a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture, at a ceremony held in Paris. Victoria Beckham took to Instagram to post about receiving the distinction the following day, including a heartfelt caption that encapsulated her feelings nicely.

“I’m so honoured to be named a Chevalière de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture. I have always deeply admired the French aesthetic and the seriousness with which it treats fashion: as a form of art. So to be recognised here and embraced in this way, is a profound privilege — one that reflects decades of commitment and dedication."

She also added,

"My sincere thanks to the French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati for this honour. Thank you also to business partners who believed in me, my family, and especially David — my husband, and original investor. I couldn’t be more grateful, you are my everything xx”

It appears as though Victoria Beckham is taking her familial woes in stride as she and her husband David continue to try and navigate the fallout.
