Bi Jiaqi, a bodybuilding influencer from China, died in his sleep on Friday morning. He was 26 at the time of his death. Hours before his death, he spoke to his friends about his upcoming bodybuilding competition. According to reports, Bi Jiaqi’s friends were skeptical that he was not doing well health-wise. However, they thought it could be due to his rigorous training. Jiaqi's cause of death is unknown.When his friends went through Jiaqi’s photos, they noticed that his lips developed a purplish shade. They were also mindful that the blood vessels on his neck had bulged. As per ETToday, when his followers saw his purplish lips, they raised comments like:“Isn't this a sign of severe oxygen deprivation?” one wrote.According to a report by The Mirror, Bi Jiaqi bought his own house. He even promised to invite his friends over for dinner when he moved in. In light of Bi Jiaqi’s death, cardiologist Zhang Yu said:“Long-term high-intensity fitness training can place a huge burden on the cardiovascular system. In particular, the dehydration and fat reduction methods commonly used by bodybuilders before competitions can make the blood thicker, greatly increasing the risk of thrombosis. One of them was Russian fitness coach Dmitry Nuyanzin. According to a report by People Magazine, he suffered a cardiac arrest.
