Ray Asian Boy's real name is Chen-Ruei Hsu (Chinese: 許宸睿). The content creator was born in Taipei, Taiwan, on October 31, 2005. The 20-year-old streamer, who goes by Rayasianboy online, became well-known for his regular appearances with AMP members and viral collaborations with Kai Cenat.

The content creator was born and raised in Taiwan, where he became interested in gaming, online culture, and content creation from a young age. Ray Asian Boy was already a fan of Kai Cenat and frequently watched videos of the streamer on TikTok prior to becoming a content creator.

When Ray found out that Kai Cenat was livestreaming outside a 7-Eleven in July 2023 while on vacation in Japan, he approached him, and his interaction with Cenat altered his whole life. His presence was well-liked by the viewers, and clips of their interaction from the stream went viral, which turned Ray Asian Boy into an overnight sensation. Soon, Ray started appearing on Kai Cenat's livestream, and the rest is history.

After the viral incident, Ray Asian Boy created his TikTok account, which goes by the username of @young11ray, in July 2023, gaining millions of followers in a short while. His videos were mainly based on comedy skits, challenges, and collaborations with Kai Cenat, which helped him gain a worldwide following.

Later, he started his Twitch account, where he began streaming gaming sessions and engaging with his followers. Ray also has a YouTube channel named RAY LIVE, with over a million subscribers.


Ray Asian Boy's move to the US and major milestones

In August 2023, Kai Cenat invited Ray Asian Boy to the United States, where he regularly appeared in AMP-related content. Ray later appeared in Global Pursuit, a parody short film inspired by Rush Hour (1998).

Ray also appeared with Kai Cenat on stage at the Streamy Awards when Kai accepted the award for Best Streamer, showing how close they have become as well as being part of Kai's success.

In 2025, Ray and Kai continued to extend their reach by modeling for a BAPE by KidSuper campaign, combining streetwear fashion with streaming culture.

In the year 2024, he was nominated for The Streamer Awards' Best Breakout Streamer and in the year 2025, Ray won The Streamer Awards' Best Reality Streamer.


The content creator has now revealed that he will be moving back to Taiwan. In his stream, he thanked everyone and stated that he made a lot of memories. Ray was living in a $10 million content house in Atlanta, Georgia, which was given by Kai Cenat and some other friends.
