Who was Bianca Dias? Brazilian content creator mourned after reporting health complications days after cosmetic surgery

Tributes are pouring in for Brazilian digital creator Bianca Dias, whose sudden death was confirmed by friends who shared details of a medical emergency at home.

According to People, the 27-year-old influencer passed away on Thursday, Feb. 19. She had almost 60,000 followers on Instagram, where she showcased beauty, travel, and lifestyle content.

Among her last posts was a selfie inside her car, while another one was taken in the streets of Chelsea, London. She also revealed snippets of her recent trip from different parts of the city, such as at a hotel in Little Venice, a clip from The Official London Eye, at the bustling Piccadilly Circus, at the MR PORTER Steakhouse, and in Mayfair.

Further, before London, she also posted several beach photos of herself clad in a bikini in Brazil.

Apart from her career as a content creator, Bianca Dias was also a mother of two, per multiple reports. In 2023, she posted what appeared to be a family photo, in which she left a heartwarming caption:

"My rock. My fuel to keep going. Jesus is the calm, the comfort of my days. My foundation for not giving up. It has not been easy here, but I have to keep going."

Following her death, Bianca Dias's friends took to social media to pour out their grief and write heartfelt messages. Fellow influencer and close friend Patrícia Ganden posted a selfie with Dias on Instagram and wrote in the caption:

"I just know that we had beautiful moments, incredible conversations, may God comfort the family, I will remember with much affection and pride of you."

Jeff Carlos, a massage therapist, also posted a tribute for Bianca Dias, penning the message:

"Death is nothing at all. Our bond has not been broken."

Meanwhile, another friend, Giovanna Borges, shared that Bianca Dias recently underwent cosmetic surgery and had been recovering when her health worsened. She wrote on her Instagram Story:

"Bia had surgery, and in recovery at home, she had a pulmonary clot, had 2 seizures, and when she arrived at the hospital, she was no longer alive…..”

The influencer's demise comes just 18 days after her initial surgery, although it remains ambiguous what kind of procedure she had undertaken.

Borges continued:

"She had a pulmonary clot, had 2 seizures, and when she arrived at the hospital, she was no longer alive. I want to thank the countless messages, thank you all who took the time to worry and send messages, if you can pray for the family regardless of religion, I will be extremely grateful!"

A post circulating on Facebook states that Dias's family is holding her wake in São Paulo.
