On January 20, Candace Owens once again slammed TPUSA for sending cease and desist letter to Wolves and Finance YouTuber in her podcast. Zach De Gregorio, the creator of the YouTube channel Wolves and Finance, disclosed on January 18 that he received a cease and desist letter requiring him to retract remarks he made regarding TPUSA's security and finances at the Utah Valley University (UVU) event where Charlie Kirk was killed by gunshot on September 10 last year.

Candace Owens came out in support of Zach De Gregorio in her recent podcast. She blasted TPUSA for sending cease and desist letter.

“someone has made the brilliant decision to send a cease and desist letter to a relatively small YouTube channel who's made interesting videos regarding the finances of Turning Point USA.”

She further mentioned a previous incident of politely pointing out Wolves and Finance for correction. Candace Owens added how the YouTuber cooperated and quickly corrected his error.

“We even said when he got something very wrong, uh, like the wrong person, I tweeted and said, 'This is not the right person. You should take this down.' And guess what? he immediately took it down and corrected it and and removed it from his content.”

Candace Owens called out TPUSA saying they can’t just sue people to silence them.

“You can't just sue people to make them shut up. We have to be done with that as a society. It is a uniquely American uh phenomenon of suing people for everything.”

She further said:

“I mean, the whole scam of uh suing people just needs to end, okay? It just needs to end. Get a job. Work hard.”

Candace Owens said TPUSA could have sent email instead of cease and desist letter

Owens suggested that TPUSA could have raised their issue and asked the YouTuber to correct the alleged wrong information shared in his video via email rather than cease and desist letter.

“If you feel that someone is putting out wrong information about you, don't start a cease and assist letter with we don't intend to sue you. That's what he's saying is correct. That is exactly what a cease is for. It's the first step to suing somebody. Otherwise, this could have been an email.”

She further continued:

“If I got him to take something out of his video after I shared it, I said, 'This is incorrect.' And he did it when I say instantly over like immediately took down the video and corrected it. Why can't Turning Point try to behave like a human.”

Before raising the issue on her podcast, Candace Owens even shared an X post to support Wolves and Finance YouTuber. She called TPUSA’s move of sending cease and desist letter as a ‘terrible’ idea.
