Why is Bill Gates mentioned in the latest Epstein files? Documents reference alleged request involving Melinda Gates

The Department of Justice released more than 3 million documents related to the Epstein files, amongst which was a shocking e-mail concerning billionaire Bill Gates. On Friday, the department complied with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was signed into law in November and released several documents from the Epstein files that featured names like Trump, Gates, Musk, and Lutnik.

In a 225-word email the late sex offender sent to himself on July 18, 2013, with the subject line: ‘bill,’ he claimed that Bill Gates had an extramarital affair. He also alleged that Bill Gates contracted a sexually transmitted disease from sex with ‘Russian girls’, and asked for antibiotics to give to Melinda Gates secretly. According to the Independent magazine, Jeffrey wrote in the email:

“I have decided to resign my position effective immediately with BG3 and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.”

He claimed that he had been pushed to do things that were “potentially over the line into the illegal,” adding that Bill Gates and Melinda were caught up in a “severe marital dispute” and he had helped set up “illicit trysts” for the Microsoft billionaire.

The documents also included passages where Epstein berated Gates for cutting ties with him. According to a passage quoted by the Daily Mail, he allegedly wrote:

“To add insult to the injury you them (sic) implore me to please delete the emails regarding your STD, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda and the description of your p*nis.”

Bill Gates denies the allegations

While Bill Gates hasn't addressed the rumors personally, a spokesperson vehemently denied the allegations, calling them ‘absolutely absurd’ and ‘completely false.’

“These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false. The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame.”

In the past, the once-richest man in the world admitted to attending several dinners with Epstein for philanthropic reasons but said he regretted spending time with him.

In 2019, The Wall Street Journal reported that Melinda Gates had started seeking divorce counsel, around the time of Gates's meetings with Epstein. She also told CBS in 2022 that Bill’s relationship with Jeffrey was a factor in their divorce.
