In the end, she decides to become a spy for the independence group as a way out of the situation. But in order to become one, she sets three conditions. The third condition is that she will only do the work for three months.
In return, they ask her not to ask any questions, not to steal anything, and not to betray them at any cost. They even tell her that Hideo is not the real son of the Inspector General but an adopted son. Turns out, he is also Korean.
