100 Days of Deception Episode 4 puts Ga-gyeong through a tough test as Philip tries to find out if she can be trusted. But that is only the beginning of her troubles. Ga-gyeong is ready to help the independence group take down the Inspector General.

She also gets closer to Hideo while secretly gathering information from him. However, things take a bad turn when their plan fails, leaving one member of the group shot and So-ran injured. And just when Ga-gyeong thinks things couldn't get more complicated, Hideo shows up at her door.

100 Days of Deception Episode 4 recap: Ga-gyeong faces a brutal test

100 Days of Deception Episode 4 starts from where the previous episode left off as Ga-gyeong gets kidnapped and is taken to a fake police station. As I watched the episode, I saw a man taking her, calling her a pickpocket, and then asking her who made her a spy and if she is working for Philip.

However, even after getting beaten up, Ga-gyeong doesn't open her mouth. In the end, it turns out that Ga-gyeong was being tested by Philip to see whether she would betray them in case they caught her or not. But Ga-gyeong is not so stupid, as she had also figured out that it was them even before they told her.

As Ga-gyeong is leaving, So-ran tells her that the Inspector General killed her daughter and they need her help. On the other side, the episode also reveals that Hideo is looking for her mother.

100 Days of Deception Episode 4 recap: Plan against Inspector General takes shape

In the Government General, Ga-gyeong tries to gather as much information as possible from Hideo. She is given a task, and she tries to go up the stairs. But due to the past incident, she was unable to walk properly. I also saw Hideo offering her a hand, but Ga-gyeong doesn't accept his help at first. She later asks for his help to walk.

Hideo also takes her to a medical center to get treated. He puts on a band-aid, and the two talk to each other as he tells her not to tell Philip that she likes him. At this point, Hideo thinks that Philip is having an affair with Ga-gyeong.

Thanks to the schedule she copied earlier from Hideo's locked drawer, the members of the independence group plan to take down the Inspector General when he is giving the speech at the event. Later, she gives new information to them, saying that the Inspector General will be the Government General at the time of the ceremony, which leaves So-ran confused about whether to go with the plan or not.

100 Days of Deception Episode 4 recap: A failed assassination

Towards the end of Episode 4, Ga-gyeong calls Philip from the Government General and tells him that the Inspector General is not giving the speech. This leaves Philip shaking, as by this time everyone had taken their spot to kill the Inspector General, and clearly, their plan was about to fail.

In the end, the plan fails as a member from the independence group gets shot instead. At the same time, So-ran also gets hurt.

The episode also leaves the viewers on a cliffhanger, as when Ga-gyeong opens the office room door, she finds Hideo standing at the door, leaving the speculation of whether he heard what she said to Philip or if he is there because of the shooting that took place.
