100 Days of Deception Episode 5 starts with Hideo standing outside waiting for Ga-gyeong as he asks her to go to a photo studio. As I watched the episode, I saw a shooting taking place, and So-ran got hurt along with other members of the independent group. While taking the photo, she suddenly hears the voice of her brother and younger sister and starts hiding.

Later, Ga-gyeong watches them from afar, showing how much she misses them. The episode also starts a new bond between Hideo and Ga-gyeong's younger sister as he comes across her, drops her back at her home, and even gives her food. It will be interesting to see how he will react after learning that the girl is none other than Ga-gyeong's younger sister. Coming back into the present, he even promises her to come again and teaches her how to read.

Later, the Inspector General goes to welcome a higher officer, and Ga-gyeong asks Hideo why things are so tense. But just when he was about to tell her everything, his phone rang, and he couldn't complete the sentence.

While coming from the washroom, she comes across the officer who hit her previously in Philip's house, and this time, he tries to be super nice to her and even tells her that she can ask him for help. Hideo comes there on time and saves her from the situation by saying that he has a task for her.

He tells her that last night Gugukdan tried to kill the Inspector General near the university, and they're now hunting fugitives. He even asks her to join the chief as an interpreter at the police station. The captured person turns out to be So-ran's husband, who met Ga-gyeong at Philip's house when she was pretending to be the living maid. The chief starts torturing him and even finds happiness seeing Ga-gyeong all distressed.

100 Days of Deception Episode 5 recap: Ga-gyeong decides to quit her spy job

In 100 Days of Deception Episode 5, So-ran's husband gets angry when he hears Ga-gyeong's name. The name was given to her by So-ran, but it is actually their daughter's name. He starts shouting at Ga-gyeong, demanding to know why she is using it. The chief also gets confused and asks her what he is talking about.

Just then, Hideo comes there and asks the chief what information he has gathered so far. But the chief slaps him instead, asking if he has forgotten his place. However, the Inspector General soon shows up as the chief starts begging for forgiveness. The Inspector General slaps him as he is more worried about what would happen if it got released to the press.

Even Hideo says sorry to Ga-gyeong for what happened before and requests her to not release the news in the foreign press through Philip. At this point, Ga-gyeong's limit has been reached. As I watched the episode, I also learned that it doesn't take much time for the Inspector General to get the details, as within no time he takes out the details of the arrested man.

While leaving the house, Ga-gyeong mentions "deliveryman" to So-ran, and So-ran comes to realize that the captured person is her husband. Ga-gyeong realizes this too and decides to leave her job as a spy. But just as she is about to leave, Philip comes up behind her with a gun in his hand.
