In 100 Days of Deception Episode 6, Philip tells Ga-gyeong the story of So-ran's daughter and how she was killed. It turns out So-ran convinced him not to kill Ga-gyeong, making him understand that she is not a threat and is just scared of being killed. In the end, Ga-gyeong comes back to the house to continue her role of being a spy.

So-ran promises Ga-gyeong that she will send her to America after killing the Inspector General within a month, and Ga-gyeong agrees to be a spy for them for the same duration.

On the other hand, I also see the Inspector General telling Hideo to build Ga-gyeong's trust but never to trust her, as she can betray them; considering she is close to Philip, there is a high chance she is passing all the information to him.

Ga-gyeong goes back to her work with the intention of winning Hideo's trust. But she can't find Hideo anywhere as he goes to receive Jules Laurent. Ga-gyeong makes sure to take the opportunity to go through all the documents on Hideo's desk and comes across documents regarding the Pneumatic Tube Project. She later hears Hideo and Laurent talking about slow work and how the workers won't be able to finish the task before the deadline.

Later, Hideo asks Ga-gyeong if she is okay, and she assures him that she is fine. She even tells him that she didn't tell anything to Philip regarding the prison incident. Both Hideo and Ga-gyeong go to prison to meet So-ran's husband and gather information. When he doesn't answer or give any details, Ga-gyeong suggests using her language to get information, and Chief agrees.

She begins by telling him about their first meeting, when she was working as a live-in maid, and he came to the house as a deliveryman. She also hints that she is on So-ran's side without mentioning her name. They eventually start talking without giving any direct hints, and he even suggests she get Castella cake for So-ran. Soon, the officers start beating him as Ga-gyeong and Hideo leave the cell.

100 Days of Deception Episode 6 recap: The Inspector General grows suspicious of Ga-gyeong's identity

In 100 Days of Deception, Hideo asks Ga-gyeong for her real name after learning that So-ran gave her the name she currently uses. As I watched the episode, I saw Ga-gyeong lying once again while crossing her fingers. At this point, Hideo seems to be liking her, but it can also be his way of building trust and coming close to her, as the Inspector General asked him to.

Later, the Inspector General meets So-ran's husband after remembering their past and how they're connected through the incident that took the life of So-ran's daughter. Ga-gyeong soon hears gunshots and runs towards the cell, assuming that they killed So-ran's husband. Seeing his dead body leaves Ga-gyeong devastated, and she breaks down in tears on her way home. Hideo stays by her side and even hugs her when she can no longer hold back her emotions.

On the other hand, the Inspector General starts suspecting Ga-gyeong because of her name.
