100 Days of Deception Episode 7 recap: Hideo and Ga-gyeong share their past

At the beginning of 100 Days of Deception Episode 7, So-ran learns the news about her husband after seeing Ga-gyeong in tears. Ga-gyeong tells her that he told her to get Castella cake for So-ran, and So-ran tells her the story behind it. The episode was pretty emotional for the viewers as we see both Ga-gyeong and So-ran crying in their own room, dealing with the loss and the tough situation.
On the other hand, I also saw Hideo pretty angry with his father, the Inspector General, and even questioned him about why he didn't let So-ran's husband go to trial and killed him instead. But the Inspector General just shuts him down.
Later, Hideo tells Ga-gyeong that his adoptive mother was from Joseon and his father took him as a son when he was a kid and married his stepmother later. He even apologized for the words he said, and Ga-gyeong also reveals that she was abandoned by her mother.
However, at one point, Hideo mentions Philip, and Ga-gyeong gets uncomfortable and leaves the place.

Philip is wary of Ga-gyeong, while So-ran trusts her and asks Philip to find a way to send her to America. In the office, Ga-gyeong comes across a document and learns that it contains a family photo. She gets suspicious and somehow convinces Yamada to open the files without revealing that she has switched them. Inside, she finds a family photo featuring So-ran and quickly tries to hide it.
However, she soon faces a difficult situation when Hideo sees her and asks what she is hiding in her hands. Ga-gyeong replaces the photo with a chocolate, quietly hides the photo, and later burns it. The Inspector General checks the documents and finds a drop of Ga-gyeong's blood on one of them. She had accidentally cut her finger while checking the file.
At this point, the Inspector General knew that somebody was after the documents, and he asked the police inspector to find the full list of items that he sent and learned about the missing family photo. He even asked the chief to find more information on Ga-gyeong since So-ran's husband previously asked for her as an interpreter, which raised his suspicion.
100 Days of Deception Episode 7 recap: Hideo and Ga-gyeong grow closer
Towards the end of Episode 7, I saw Hideo apologizing to Ga-gyeong for misunderstanding her and telling her that he trusts her and she is not on his suspect list. But it doesn't take long for them to get into an argument after Hideo tells Ga-gyeong that he is teaching a young girl, who turns out to be her little sister.
Ga-gyeong had asked him to stay away from her, as she doesn't want to disclose the people she is close to. But Hideo misunderstands her words and thinks she simply doesn't like them. He has no idea that the girl is Ga-gyeong's sister.
Their misunderstanding doesn't last long, as Ga-gyeong says sorry to him and he offers to buy a drink. The two go to drink, and she opens up about her childhood and the time when she was about to give up on her life but decided to live after learning about America's tallest building in hopes of climbing it one day. Suddenly, while talking, Hideo reveals that his real Joseon name is Kim Tae-ung.
