100 Days of Deception Episode 8 begins with Ga-gyeong and Hideo sharing beers as Hideo reveals his Joseon name to her. As I watched the episode, I also saw Hideo confessing his feelings to her, but it turned out to be a dream. Hideo later drops her off at home. However, So-ran and Philip get suspicious and start wondering if Hideo knows too much.

Philip even decides to share a drink with Hideo to find out if he knows anything. But the confrontation soon leads to a fight between the two as Hideo questions Philip about his affair with Ga-gyeong. Hideo even sleeps in Ga-gyeong's room, and when Ga-gyeong wakes up, she finds So-ran by her side. After Ga-gyeong goes to her home to collect her belongings, Hideo reveals that the pawn ticket she possesses belongs to his mother.

While So-ran and Philip were suspicious of Hideo, after the night incident, they understand that Hideo has feelings for Ga-gyeong.

In 100 Days of Deception Episode 8, Ga-gyeong also meets Mr. Laurent, and she helps him with the interpretation. While talking to Hideo, Ga-gyeong almost gives away her cover when he notices that she knows how to pronounce the word "pneumatic," with a silent 'P.' She quickly explains that she read the document while dusting the room because she wanted to learn and help him.

Later, the Foreign Affairs Division has an emergency meeting due to the Shanghai bombing. So-ran comes up with another plan, and Ga-gyeong becomes a part of it. So-ran explains to her that Hideo's fiancée will get the herb medicine inside Ga-gyeong's workplace, and it will also contain bombs. Ga-gyeong is asked to pull out the bomb packets and hide them somewhere.

As instructed, she hides the bomb in the ladies' room, but her troubles don't end here. While watching the episode, I also see a rat near the bomb, and later Yamada tells her that a mouse trap is being set inside the ladies' room vent before office hours. But that's where the bomb is.

100 Days of Deception Episode 8 recap: Ga-gyeong hears Hideo confront his father

Ga-gyeong is initially denied entry to the building, but Laurent helps her get back in. In return, he asks her to go on a date with him. She takes out the bomb and hides it in another place.

In the episode, we also see Hideo asking Ga-gyeong not to be with Philip, as he believes that Philip is abusive and she deserves to be treated like a princess. He even goes to tutor Ga-gyeong's little sister but soon comes across their boss, who used to take money from Ga-gyeong.

Towards the end of the episode, Hideo confronts the Inspector General over the killing incident that took So-ran's daughter's life. However, his father shows no regret. Ga-gyeong is shown listening to the whole conversation from behind the curtain. When Hideo catches her and asks her to leave, she asks him not to cry and calls him by his Joseon name.
