The first half of Bridgerton Season 4 raised the stakes with a forbidden romance, social conversations and the burning question of when Benedict Bridgerton will finally recognize Sophie Baek as the Lady in Silver.
As the second part approaches, things will get even messier (and romantic) as we finally get to know how Benedict and Sophie's love story will end. With lingering cliffhangers and shifting alliances still hanging in the balance, here are five key things you can expect from Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2.
Bridgerton Season 4 is following An Offer from a Gentleman
Season 4 of Bridgerton draws its central inspiration from An Offer from a Gentleman, the third novel in Julia Quinn’s beloved series. The story shifts focus to Benedict Bridgerton, whose romantic journey mirrors a Cinderella-inspired arc filled with masked encounters, class barriers, and impossible choices.
Based on that, five key incidents will alter and amend Benedict and Sophie's romance on the show.
Lady Araminta moving in next to the Bridgertons gets Sophie closer to Benedict

As Sophie’s stepfamily moves next door to the Bridgertons, her identity faces greater risk. When the Penwoods make their first social call, Benedict finds her and takes her to his bachelor's lodgings. There, they connect over feeling like outsiders within their own families, as his feelings for her deepen.
In the books, this is also where they get intimate for the first time. He asks her to move in with him. Sophie refuses, forcing an honest conversation about reputation, marriage, and her fear of bringing an illegitimate child into a society that would judge them both.
Violet Bridgerton (as usual) knows more about Sophie than she thinks

The sharpest mama of the ton, Violet, quickly senses the depth of Benedict and Sophie’s connection. Earlier, Benedict confides that he has fallen for a woman outside his social circle, and Violet assures him of her unconditional support. It does not take long for her to realize that Sophie is the woman in question, though she chooses to keep that knowledge to herself.
Eventually, Violet gently confronts Sophie, admitting she understands their feelings and suspects Sophie is hiding her true identity.
Lady Araminta accuses Sophie of stealing

Just as Sophie prepares to leave the ton behind, her stepmother tracks her down and accuses her of stealing a pair of shoe clips that were actually a gift from Posy. However, Posy defends Sophie publicly, exposing Araminta’s lies, and she is eventually released.
It is also revealed that Araminta stole Sophie's inheritance, and she eventually agrees to legitimize her social standing.
Benedict finds out about Sophie being the Lady in Silver while she is playing

During a game of blind man’s bluff, Sophie covers her eyes with a scarf, sparking recognition in Benedict. He suddenly realizes she is the mysterious Lady in Silver, and his mystery is solved. He confronts her as she talks about why she was not letting him recognize him because of her social standing.
We will finally get to see Kate and Anthony Sharma again!
Our favorite Bridgerton couple will return for this season's second part, and the trailer for the second part has already given us a glimpse. They are back from India with their child, and it will certainly be interesting to see how their homecoming affects the season's narrative.
Bridgerton Season 4 Part 2 will be out on February 26, 2026.
