A distinct aspect of Yellowstone is how the characters of the storyline face difficulties and often come across a tragic end. Fightland also has a similar feature, according to 50 Cent. In the interview with PEOPLE, 50 Cent notes that this new series also has similar features.

He also appreciated the viewership of Yellowstone. It cannot be denied that the broody and intense storyline of the Taylor Sheridan series has amassed a huge fanbase through the years. 50 Cent's words further add to the anticipation for the new series. Along with the revenge being a significant element of the storyline, the “intensity of the material” is not similar to that of a “standard” film or crime drama, which features action sequences.

While speaking about the storyline of Fightland in an interview with CNN, 50 Cent added that the aspect of boxing goes “way back to Rome” and compared it to a “modern-day version” of “gladiators”. In this new series, Maduka ‘Duke’ Kilroy was a former boxing champion.

Howard Charles takes on the role of Maduka ‘Duke’ Kilroy. Besides Howard Charles, some of the other cast members of this new series are Nicolas Pinnock, Charles Babalola, Anita-Joy Uwajeh, Max Brown, etc. The first episode of this new series is already out.

The first episode of the series sets the stage with the backdrop of the characters. From introducing the boxing elements to the intense crime thriller that the series is set to become, it provides a distinct setting for the viewers. Howard Charles, in an interview with CNN, revealed the significance of “boxing,” noting that “fight films” along with “fight stories” are a “metaphor” for “our own struggle”.

He also added that people are able to “relate” to “boxing” as there is the aspect of “fighting for something”. The series will have eight episodes. The first episode perfectly sets the stage with Duke’s storyline along with the intricacies of the crimes intertwined in the storyline. The next episode of the series is set to release on August 7, followed by the third episode on August 14.

The fourth and fifth episodes of this 50 Cent series are set to drop on August 21 and 28. The final three episodes, which are episodes 6, 7, and 8, will release on September 4, 11, and 18, respectively. This series is 50 Cent’s “first internationally produced show,” as the star added in a statement, which was released by Starz. He is also anticipating this show to gain “more” success than “anything” that he has “done before”.

There will be the presence of “boxing’s raw stakes” as can be seen in the first episode, which 50 Cent said will “take it to another level”. A distinct factor of this new series is the filming locations. Bringing out the authenticity of the storyline has been the priority of the series. Some of the filming locations include Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London, Peacock Gym in Canning Town, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Eastbrook Studios in Dagenham, Poplar, Woolwich Pier, etc.
